I had heard about this one some years ago, checked it, and didn’t think I would make a post of it one day.
But well, the taste can change and I know that many folks here will like this scene, even though there is no scuba diving in it and it is also black and white.

Ok, it clearly isn’t summer, and the two women were wearing these rubber wetsuits under their thick (winter) clothes?
Wow, they must be burning up in these suits…plus it isn’t comfortable to run around much in these suits! But perhaps they like that? 😉
Plus running around like that, other folks nearby might think you smell like rubber, even the wetsuit is hidden under the other clothes 😆
I wouldn’t mind swapping places with any of these two guys. Especially with the guy who drives the boat. Sounds like great fun with these wetsuited babes in tow!
The movie itself seems rather…bizarre….and has no other scenes of relevance to this blog.
But I do like this scene, even though it is black and white which is a big minus for me.
I played with a colorizing website and here are two pictures in color:
Yeah, a little better, even the results aren’t very good.

By the way:
The woman who is pouring water into/onto her wetsuit is young Charlotte Rampling!
You can spot her in color and inside an even sexier wetsuit in this post:
(had problems with these scenes on Youtube in the past)

Watch the video before you continue!
So, you might guess why this one is a classic for me 😉
So, we have two beautiful women in nice vintage scuba gear! Ok, the BCD vests are kind of uncool…but at least they are only on the back.
The scuba fight is done pretty well, a nice struggle, she is occupied with controlling his knife hand as it’s the greatest threat to her.
They roll around nicely and finally, he manages to get his knife into position and slice her live-giving air hose!
It seems like they recorded the sound from her escaping air in a studio or so. Not 100% sure.
However, it sounds as sexy to me as it looks!
Lucky for her, he ….seemingly….. “just” wants to scare her off for the moment as he immediately swims away instead of holding her back at that depth.
Ok, hard to say in which depths they were… If they were deep enough he might have thought that she wouldn’t make it to the surface or wouldn’t survive an emergency ascend.
Also, the other Angel is there to rescue her by starting buddy breathing with her.
The sight of a sliced air hose spewing bubbles is quite something for me! 🙂
All in all, a very good scene that now finally gets into my Hall of Fame.
The end of the episode is also nice, as they look great with just their wetsuits on! Plus the nice Navy helicopter that reminds me of a certain movie with “some” scuba content 😉
–
But there is one more very interesting scuba scene in this episode!
This time three frogwomen are underwater and the bad guy is there again.
A good scene, but it seems a little….”lackluster” in the end.
One of them is charging him like a bull, and that without a scuba knife! (Why do the Angels haven’t got any knives?)
A very brave attack!
But then the two others join and the action gets very, very tame. They move slowly and a little “random”.
That scene could have used a better directing/script. It seems like they don’t fully know what to do here and there…..
The other two should have had a little more energy.
In my version, the frogwoman in yellow would fight with him.
The others would attack from behind and one would rip off his scuba mask and one would yank out his regulator.
But ok, in this version they have to escape the blast radius and he is staying back to get blown up 😉
I will watch the full episode today to get the full backstory behind it.
This scene is special as 3 frogwomen are fighting against one frogman, even though it’s a short and tame struggle. Quite unique nonetheless…I would say.
Damn, how MUCH I envy that guy! And the film crew….
Ok, I am not the biggest fan of the collars on their suits and the same goes for their bathing caps.
But besides that…they look …quite….AWESOME! These tight, wet rubber wetsuits are incredibly sexy for me.
Not to forget the stunning ladies inside these suits 😉
If I would be that guy….there would be a second tent on that camping site very quickly, and that one wouldn’t need to be assembled 😆
Don’t know how I would manage to stay in my role if I would be the actor. I mean you can maybe think about taxes and golf…and try to NOT watch in their direction, but that won’t work for long.
Of course, it would have been great to have these two in a scuba scene, no luck there.
Nevertheless, this scene is an absolute classic!
–
And as a little bonus (thanks to allmanzor!) here is a nice picture of them on set:
As you may/should know I am interested in all sorts of breathing gear. Especially when women are using it.
This blog is mainly about female scuba divers, but here and then I wanna post scenes with gas masks, oxygen masks, or scenes with female astronauts in action.
This one is a short one, but one of my favorite scenes in that genre!

And here is the video:
–
I included every second of her in that suit.
Watch the video before you continue!
Ok, let’s start with the bad aspects of the scene.
You can easily spot that her (plastic) helmet/visor is broken as she lays on the bottom.
After a cut, it is intact again. Seems like the prop helmet wasn’t very durable 😉
Then her air hose breaks free from the coupling (right word? – sorry, my English space gear vocabulary isn’t that good).
Ok, that might ….perhaps…. be somehow possible.
Another continuation error then is about the air hose. First, it lays flat, without tension, on the floor.
As she touches her visor and gasps for her the hose is ….”erect”…. as if it wasn’t made of rubber anymore (last picture above) 😉
Then she just plugs the hose back into the coupling. I hardly doubt that that might work as the coupling must be damaged as the hose broke out of it.
Also, the air hose should be under quite the pressure, so I don’t believe that it would work.
But anyhow, enough nagging for today.
–
There are many great aspects in this scene for me!
I love her breathing sounds as she walks around! And the first-person view from her helmet is a great addition, it’s very immersive….for me as I used to play some video games like that.
Then the short moment as her air escapes her suit/hose…. is just very sexy for me. I love how she gasps for her and realizes that she is in big trouble!
Her precious air is escaping quickly and she must repair that somehow very quickly in order to stay alive.
I like that she doesn’t panic and manages to stay calm. That saved her life in this scene.
She manages to plug the hose back in and her breathing slowly returns to normal.
Damn, I love peril scenes like that! And such a scene with a female astronaut in (oxygen) peril is verrrrry very rare….sadly.
Even though this scene is only short and has some flaws, it’s just very sexy for me.
I would love to see a scene where two female astronauts would fight against each other.
They wouldn’t have any fancy weapons and they simply would try to suffocate the opponent by ripping/cutting/damaging the air hose of the other one.
It would be a long struggle until one of them would finally get the upper hand.
Today I wanna post a full HD video with proper text for this sexy scene!

And here is the video:

As you can see I made some cuts in the last part of the video. Well, I wanted to keep the length of the video to a certain size and besides that, she isn’t in these scenes that I cut out.
I recommend watching the whole movie if you like movies like Jaws. This one is pretty good and it has one GREAT feature for me: A fantastic score by grandmaster Ennio Morricone which really makes this movie stand out in comparison to others of this genre (+good actors).
Ok, back to this scene.
Her whole scuba gear is pretty close to perfection to me! This vintage wetsuit just looks awesome 🙂
Ok, I would prefer a vintage double hose regulator for her, but that classic single hose regulator is very nice as well.
From today’s point of view, it looks rather….odd, that she (who is a marine biologist) is hiding between the rocks as a shark approaches. But ok, a great white shark does look menacing, even he is not nearly as dangerous in reality as in the movies. But back in the old days nearly everyone thought that all sharks would be very dangerous, especially after Jaws.
However, it’s a thrilling scene to see her squeeze herself between these rocks.
It’s a fun scene later on as well, as the rough captain yells at the diver (he thought it was a man) and she then pulls back her hood to reveal her long hair.
Yeah, that sight of her in that wetsuit made him speechless for a moment.
Who could blame him? 😉
Charlotte Rampling did look pretty good back then. She was around 30 as the movie was shot, and that wetsuit is just very sexy.
In my version, she would hide from the shark as well but would damage her air hose as she would leave the rocks. Even that would be hard to do in a realistic fashion. Perhaps it got stuck there 😉
So, with the shark close by and her losing a lot of air…. you would have a little more thrill! 😉
Thanks to the nice guy who recommended me this one!
The whole movie is actually available on Youtube (for now) and I will give you the link later on, but first I wanna present my special cut of this scene, that you should watch first 😉
Here is a preview:

Time to get into…
…the water!
Defusing a mine!

And here is my special Frogwoman cut (every second of them included):
–
Well…….WTF?!
These scenes alone raise so many questions….
Well, hard to say why they are using these huge scuba tanks (even a double tank) in the first place as a snorkel might have done the job here as well as they don’t have to dive.
But ok, of course, I prefer them wearing scuba tanks.
And wow, never seen such a “red” face on a female scuba diver in a movie 😆
But I guess it was shot in the Caribbean/Gulf of Mexico and running around on land with these temperatures, in such a wetsuit, while carrying those heavy tanks……
I guess this was really exhausting and they were sweating like hell in their suits.
Back to the scene: They are swimming to that mine with most likely the task to defuse it.
I don’t see them having any tools for that. I wonder how they are planning to defuse it? Or is there an ON/OFF switch on that thing? 😆
Ok, I admit, I didn’t see the whole movie as I don’t speak Spanish, and even if I would I wouldn’t do it from the scenes that I saw.
The underwater sounds sound very familiar, I think these are generic sound underwater effects and weren’t from this scene at all!
But well, the mine goes off for some reason and they are seemingly dead? No one could survive such an explosion close by.
One of them is shown twitching around underwater, as her body seems intact after the explosion of that huge sea-mine…. oh my….
Why this mine needed to be defused this quickly that they have to jump from the ship while being fired upon….I don’t know.
Perhaps someone can solve this and the other mysteries.
–
Here is the whole movie with the correct timing to jump into the insane action:
(not my upload….. hopefully, it will stay on Youtube)
–
Well…. again…..WTF?!?!
Isn’t that navy ship armed in any way? No small cannons, no AA guns, no machine guns, no nothing? Hard to believe… but they are only using their assault rifles to fire upon the bad guys.
Also, the navy guys and girls should be in a big advantage. They are on the big ship, can use cover there (what they are mostly not doing), are better equipped, and still have so many problems in fighting off some goons in their small boats?!?
What I don’t understand at all is….why are all these people just shacking their guns and pretending to fire upon each other???????
It looks like small kids would play with each other in kindergarten 😆
I mean, they used this ship, a helicopter, all these boats, had these rifles…… but then no money to buy some blanks???
This way the whole action looks ridiculous² …
This movie is mainly about a female squad of navy soldiers.
Back in 1990 as this movie was made, this was rather unusual.
So, is this movie perhaps feministic?
Well, quite the opposite in my opinion!
I mean most of them are portrayed rather incompetent (for example: the way they hold their rifles) and often are completely hysterical.
This is a rather horrible and sexist way to portray them. Well, Mexico in 1990…. I am not surprised. (wouldn’t be much different in most other countries at that time)
But enough of that, it works as an (unintentional) comedy for me…
The wetsuits are very nice, I wish there would be more and better footage of the frogwomen underwater.
What a missed chance….you have 2 navy frogwomen in sexy black wetsuits(!!!!) ….and then no enemy divers to fight against? DAMN!
….and I wanna make a new post about it as this one deserves a proper post with proper text!
And by making a new post I wanna present that scene/the movie to all folks who don’t know the original post from 2013.

This one is very special to me, and I wanna explain why, but first, check out some preview pictures and the video.

…for action!

That wasn’t supposed to happen!
The villainess in action!

And here is the video:
–
Ok, some backstory first.
The woman who walks into the lake is playing an actress in a movie…in the movie. She is the leading lady.
The villainess already killed off some folks throughout the movie with various methods (drowning (no UW footage), bow and arrow, etc.).
So, at the very beginning, you can see the safety diver who was supposed to look out for the actress in the lake has already been murdered (wasn’t shown in the movie).
She has the same type of wetsuit as he does, she is well-prepared.
And damn, I just love her wetsuit, she looks great in that smooth skin wetsuit 🙂
The way the camera moves higher on her body and she puts on her scuba mask….well done!
What is funny is the fact that her first stage is on the wrong side, her left side….and so the regulator is also wrong as it is upside-down in her mouth (the exhale on top).
Seems like the filming crew here didn’t know much about scuba diving 😉
Later on, as she is underwater the mistake is corrected.
The “good” woman is wearing a wetsuit and scuba socks under her coat they don’t bother hiding it especially as she is out of the water again in the end. But I guess she was wearing that for the filming of that scene of the movie that they shot inside this movie…..quite confusing 😆
Underwater, there are two main problems for me.
The visibility is quite bad and I guess therefore the camera is very close to the two women, too close sometimes.
But I love the breathing sounds of the villainess and the fact that the other woman fights back, she isn’t totally passive like other women in other movies.
Several times she tries to steal the regulator of the villainess….. so great!
The villainess “only” needs to keep her underwater, even though that would be pretty difficult in reality, as the other woman has no weights on her and is even wearing a wetsuit!
I think it would be hard to keep her from surfacing, but okay, it’s only a small issue.
It’s also a little off that the guy immediately finds the two in a murky lake and without a scuba mask. Yeah, there are bubbles from the regulator of the villainess, but I think it would be really difficult to find them quickly. Especially without a scuba mask.
It’s a shame that the detective was already in scuba gear and disturbs the villainess.
A shame that the villainess here wasn’t able to put up more of a fight. Quickly he yanks down her mask hard and thereby also removes her regulator. With one swift move, she is finished.
Seemingly he quickly yanks down her scuba hood as soon they hit the surface because her hood is already down as the camera shows her.
I love the way she looks as they drag her away in her gorgeous scuba outfit!
And the whole idea of having this villainess putting on that scuba gear to sneakily kill a woman in a film shooting is just brilliant and quite ….sexy….for me.
I mean it’s incredibly rare to have a frogwoman who tries to kill someone. Especially in such a sexy wetsuit!
This villainess here is one of my favorite villainesses of all time.
And even though the scuba scene has quite some flaws, I will make an entry in the Hall of Fame, where you already can find a special “wetsuit cut” video of this scene!
Would have loved to see how she would have escaped from the lake in her wetsuit…
