Female scuba diver investigates the sea floor after a scuba “accident” [movie scene]

Time to finally post about this scene!

I always wanted to watch this rare movie (28 votes on IMDB), but never had the chance (until today!)

I do have this scuba scene from it!

I don’t know if there is more in that movie… but it surely sounds like it from the description on IMDB 😉

Hopefully I can watch the whole movie someday….

*EDIT* Well, that chance came much sooner than I anticipated…

Just as I wanted to upload this … I found out the whole movie was uploaded on YouTube just 4 days earlier…. crazy coincidence! 

I was looking for this one for ages… and now I just popped up.

She investigates after her grandfather mysteriously drowned nearby some days earlier.

From the description (check the link below), it sounds like an eco-thriller.

Yeah, no peril here, but a nice dive with close-ups and surface scenes before and after the dive.

From the story, you could easily build in a scene where she discovers something underwater that she shouldn’t have…

…and then the bad guys would want her to have an “accident” on her next dive 😉

But ok, that maybe just my fantasy 😆

Certainly, the chance for more scuba scenes in this movie seems quite high.

Ok, I checked the whole movie by now:

The movie starts promising, very similar to my idea above: Her grandfather goes on a solo dive, discovers 3 scuba divers do shady things with some plants near a mysterious yacht.

He makes pictures of them, and they don’t realize that he is there.

The bad guys on the yacht make him out on a gadget and send 2 more divers down there!

They attack him from behind and drown him by stealing his mask and regulator…

Then you have the scene above with her.

But then you have more than 2,5 hours of movie left (3 hours in total)… and there is no more scuba action at all!

(besides some guy diving around for a minute)

DAMN! WHYYYYY? Great start… but then they had seemingly blasted all the scuba budget on those 2 scenes.

I know… those scenes are costly, but still quite a let down after such a start.

However, I am grateful for these 2 scenes 🙂

A female detective in a wetsuit VS Arnold Schwarzenegger!?!

Well, I was quite surprised as I heard about this last week!

Thanks to the guy who recommended me this one and provided me with links. 🙂

I do know the movies of Arnold Schwarzenegger pretty well, he is a legend who was in many legendary movies.

What I didn’t know is that some short scuba scenes and lengthy wetsuit scenes exist with a female detective in one of his movies!

So, why didn’t I know that? Well, they aren’t in the final movie!

But there are 2 alternative endings and several deleted scenes with the female detective in a wetsuit.

All these scenes with her in a wetsuit were cut out of the movie… a shame.

But they are all still there on the Blu-ray, for example 😉

I made a highlight compilation for you with all the highlights!

Ok, the movie itself is rather lame, and most people wouldn’t know it if Schwarzenegger weren’t in it.

The short dive scene at the start is a deleted scene. She is also diving in another tiny one… but nothing much interesting to see there.

This alternative ending (starting with her and the pistol in the water) is quite ….alternative… indeed in comparison to the movie ending.

Arnold isn’t in very good shape here. But ok, he was already 67 in real life… so you can believe that he didn’t do better in the fight here in the movie.

I never thought I would see Arnold in such a wrestling/drowning match with a woman in a wetsuit.

A shame that it all happens at night, so it’s often hard to fully see everything. Still an interesting scene! 🙂

I had to make some cuts as soon as Arnold moves to the cars. Nothing of big interest happens there.

In one version, she shoots him as he doesn’t give her any other choice.

In the other alternative ending, he does shoot her.

Well, certainly all these scuba and wetsuit scenes would have made the movie a …bit better.

In my alternative imaginary version, Sydney Sweeney would be in the wetsuit and wrestling with Arnold during the day 😉

And of course, there would be some more scuba scenes with scuba fights in it…

Female agent in wetsuit and hazmat gear infiltrates a facility

Yeah, this TV show provided plenty of scenes of all sorts that are very interesting to me 🙂

This scene was recommended lately by a user of the blog and I wanna present it today!

We have a female agent in the desert who puts on a wetsuit and hazmat gear! Sound interesting? 

I would say: YES!

I cut out some bits (mostly of the side plot with him) to prevent the video from getting too long, so it has a good chance of staying on the channel.

Ok, I am still confused about her gear.

That combo is quite odd. Combining the sexy wetsuit with hazmat gear?

I guess someone wanted to put her in a sexy suit instead of a regular bulky hazmat suit? 😉

And why is she wearing the gear exactly?

Seemingly, it gets very hot down there… why? And why does she need the hazmat oxygen setup with the helmet? So that her face wouldn’t be “burned”?

Or is some sort of gas or airborne toxin… but there is no clue about that in the episode, as far as I know.

I tried to get answers from the episode about some defense mechanisms for the facility, but had no luck.

But perhaps someone else can explain why she is wearing that gear (besides the “optics”)

Enough of that. I like how she plays the dumb girl who got “lost” and how she distracts the guy and gets rid of him.

It would have been great if she had fought someone while wearing that suit… no luck 🙁

Her transformation from wearing the wetsuit to that medical gear isn’t shown.

A nice touch that her wetsuit is shown again as she drives off.

Frogwomen Korra, Demi, and Kara in “Learning Scuba 2” – [35th video of Project F – 5th video shoot]

So, it’s time for the fifth “Project F” video in 2024!

This is video 35, the fifth from the 5th video shoot.

In this video, Korra is teaching Demi and Kara some basic scuba exercises!

Background info:

Korra is an experienced diver with a lot of certificates, and Demi and Kara had only scuba experience from past video shots.

So, I thought making a second “Learning scuba” video was a good idea. The first one was video 19, also with Kara and Demi.

There are some major differences between the videos:

The scuba gear, the teacher, and most of all…. the camera position.

This time the camera is really close and is always focused on one frogwoman only.

I think that is the better choice in comparison. #learningfrommistakes

All 3 did a great job, and the video was really easy to film and edit. This is a one-take video (no cuts).

Yes, this video doesn’t have any perilous elements in it (unless you count the minor problems that Demi had).

But I think that there are a lot of people who will enjoy the video nonetheless 😉

The last video of this video shoot will be quite the opposite.

It will feature “just” scuba action with a long scuba fight. Some vintage gear… and a scuba knife will be used…. 😉

It’s pretty simple, I had to spend a lot of money:

All that scuba gear, location rent, and the money for the frogwomen and the safety diver.

If I don’t make enough money with these videos….. I won’t be able to make new videos at some point.

After all, you get all those Project F videos each month  + additional content for just 12 euros (or even less per month if you get into the VIP club for more than one month).

I would say that is quite a bargain!

Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?

Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.

Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.

Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…

I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.

I will check out other sites like Vimeo though, if that would be an option or not.

The future of Project F?

I will upload one more new Project F video from this video shoot in June!

In the summer I wanna finally have my first video shoot in a lake (June?)

And there will be another video shoot this year in this cool deep pool …in August.

So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

Hah, I bet you are confused right now! 😉

First of all… I did include all the underwater footage from that episode in the video.

The actual moment when she dies isn’t actually shown in the episode…

Czech isn’t in my language portfolio but I got some info about the story:

He wanted to kill her for money and sabotaged her tank and gauge so it was empty much sooner than it was supposed to be.

He initially had her camera but was forced to ditch it quickly so the police wouldn’t find it.

But they discovered she had a camera so the female police diver was sent to retrieve it.

And there on the footage, the police guys can see that he isn’t doing anything to help her and is waiting for her to drown.

Well, what do we learn from that? If you wanna murder a scuba diver… make sure he/she isn’t filming it 😆

It’s quite a shame that the decisive moment wasn’t shown in the episode… really weird.

But I like the storyline and we have two solid scuba scenes with female divers and some nice wetsuit footage from the surface.

 

In my version, the evil guy would battle the female police diver at the end.

She would follow him to the camera and then a marvelous scuba fight would be the showdown of the episode 😉

After a long struggle, she would finish him off (air hose slice, regulator snatch) and he would thereby get what he deserves…

 

I find it highly amusing how …unsuccessful … the producers here try to hide the company names on the wetsuits 😆

Female scuba diver lost at sea

…and no, I am not talking about the movie “Open Water” 😉

We have a woman and a guy who dive around and get quite surprised when they resurface!

Not sure how realistic it is that it would drift away and then also drift away from sight completely in the matter of one dive.

But that’s not important.

All in all a nice perilous scene, even if the peril happens on the surface.

Interestingly the guy uses the regulator that normally is mounted on an Interspiro AGA full-face scuba mask.

Quite unusual.

Some really nice underwater footage is included.

If I would have filmed that scenario an evil frogwoman in black rubber would have sneaked onto the boat during their dive and would have stolen it to leave them to their fate.

Much cooler than the boat just drifting away 😉

A female diver, a male diver, and a ring

Time for some scuba scenes from a fresh movie from 2022!

I put the 2 main scuba scenes in it, some more snippets are in it, but nothing of big interest.

I also added some surface footage …as she looks fine in her wetsuit.

HG scuba scenes

Yeah, no real action, nothing spectacular, but I am happy about every new movie that actually does have scuba scenes in it… as there are only very few which have that.

She looks just fine in her wetsuit and the scuba gear is ok. Sadly there are no scuba action scenes in this one as it is a romantic comedy.

The story is rather simple, she loses her ring as she is doing some sort of yoga on a surfboard, a valuable heirloom.

He is the slightly strange, but handsome scuba teacher of the hotel, and they fall in love etc..

In my version, I would have added a scene where he would have heroically saved her as she becomes stuck underwater or something and nearly drowns 😉

That would still be fitting in such a genre movie.

Or I would actually gender swap the roles and the scuba teacher would be a woman, and she would get in trouble underwater…

Female scuba diver with mini tank

2nd post for today!

(first one is about the 2nd video shoot of “Project F”)

 

Another scuba scene for you folks, this time a very new one!

In this scene, we have a couple(?) diving around with mini scuba tanks.

Yeah, a solid scene, even though there is no action in it.

It is interesting that they are using these mini scuba tanks (Frogwoman Lucy used one in Video 2 of Project F).

They are using regulators from the well-known Cressi company, haven’t seen such a combo so far as normally these tanks come with rather cheapish regulators from the same brand.

With that size, I guess only 1L…they can dive for around 5-7 minutes or so, depending on how fit they are.

So they certainly need to be really careful with such small tanks and stay in rather shallow depths.

Also, she admits that she has no experience with diving at all, so it is even more risky, even they do hold hands.

Certainly not a dive any scuba school would approve of 😉

 

The surface scene at the end is a nice addition.

There are no more scenes with them in wetsuits in that episode.

Vintage babes in vintage wetsuits!

I had heard about this one some years ago, checked it, and didn’t think I would make a post of it one day.

But well, the taste can change and I know that many folks here will like this scene, even though there is no scuba diving in it and it is also black and white.

Ok, it clearly isn’t summer, and the two women were wearing these rubber wetsuits under their thick (winter) clothes?

Wow, they must be burning up in these suits…plus it isn’t comfortable to run around much in these suits! But perhaps they like that? 😉

Plus running around like that, other folks nearby might think you smell like rubber, even the wetsuit is hidden under the other clothes 😆

I wouldn’t mind swapping places with any of these two guys. Especially with the guy who drives the boat. Sounds like great fun with these wetsuited babes in tow!

The movie itself seems rather…bizarre….and has no other scenes of relevance to this blog.

But I do like this scene, even though it is black and white which is a big minus for me.
