So, it’s time for the next “Project F” video of the last video shoot from August!

This is video 42, the sixth from the 6th video shoot.

In this video, Frogwoman Scarlett gets the first scuba lesson (for real) as Frogwoman Meg teaches her the most basic scuba skills!

Background info:

This was Scarlett’s first diving experience and she did really well, and Meg did an excellent job in teaching her these scuba skills!

They wanted to practice these skills in shallow water first, I filmed some bits of it before they went down into deep water (4 meters), and the actual video began.

In the background, you sometimes see Kara and Alice. Kara was doing a video with the selfie stick… more on that next month and Alice was the safety diver.

This time I wanted to have more footage with both the teacher and the student on it at the same time.

Next time I will also include some frontal close-ups… if that scenario gets done then (if someone participates who has no scuba experience at all).

I think this perspective was a good compromise between seeing both at the same time (often) and getting them close enough to the camera.

This time a buddy breathing exercise was included at the end.

Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?

Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.

Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.

Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…

I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.

I will check out other sites like Vimeo though, if that would be an option or not.

The future of Project F?

I will release a new video from this video shoot every 2 weeks until 2024 is finished (this one today, and then 2 each month until the end of 2024)

I have at least 9 videos in total that will be released from this video shoot, so the rest of the year is covered with new releases 🙂

In 2025, the next video shoot in that (deep) pool will be in early March, and then a lake video shoot in the summer (finally!!!).

So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

This is video 35, the fifth from the 5th video shoot.

In this video, Korra is teaching Demi and Kara some basic scuba exercises!

Background info:

Korra is an experienced diver with a lot of certificates, and Demi and Kara had only scuba experience from past video shots.

So, I thought making a second “Learning scuba” video was a good idea. The first one was video 19, also with Kara and Demi.

There are some major differences between the videos:

The scuba gear, the teacher, and most of all…. the camera position.

This time the camera is really close and is always focused on one frogwoman only.

I think that is the better choice in comparison. #learningfrommistakes

All 3 did a great job and the video was really easy to film and edit. This is a one-take video (no cuts).

Yes, this video doesn’t have any perilous elements in it (unless you count the minor problems that Demi had).

But I think that there are a lot of people who will enjoy the video nonetheless 😉

The last video of this video shoot will be quite the opposite.

It will feature “just” scuba action with a long scuba fight. Some vintage gear… and a scuba knife will be used…. 😉

The future of Project F?

I will upload one more new Project F video from this video shoot in June!

In the summer I wanna finally have my first video shoot in a lake (June?)

And there will be another video shoot this year in this cool deep pool …in August.

So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

Vintage frogwoman wants to retrieve some stolen diamonds! [Sea Hunt classic]

I noticed that there is very little Sea Hunt content here on the blog, that has to change!

Also… I’m a bit low on new material as well.

Only 2 scenes from the original and 2 scenes from the 80s remake are on the blog.

Interesting how her black scuba hood changes into a white bathing cap underwater at the beginning 😉 #continuationerror

Yeah, the picture quality isn’t great and it’s black and white… but still, I love such scenes from that awesome show!

She looks great in that vintage black rubber wetsuit! Plus the double hose regulator on top 🙂

The viewer already learns one of the most important rules of scuba diving in this one.

It’s a great scenario to have this woman learning to scuba dive for some criminal actions.

Even she just is there to retrieve the diamonds. Lucky for her she gets away with it in the end.

I guess if a guy would have done it… the two wouldn’t have let him get away with it 😉

All in all a good early episode with a lot of female scuba diving.

Frogwomen Kara and Demi in “Learning Scuba” – [19th video of Project F – 3rd video shoot]

So, it’s time for the second video of the 3rd video shoot of “Project F”!

Normally I post on Sundays, but as February is pretty short I wanna give you a longer time period to get the video in the VIP club (until Tuesday, February 28).

 

In this video, Frogwomen Kara and Demi are doing some very basic scuba exercises to learn scuba diving.

Background info:

This is the only video from this video shoot that doesn’t have any scuba peril elements.

I only made one cut here as there is a scene in the middle where Sascha is demonstrating how to clear a mask…. so there is no “action” from the two for a while.

Kara has now appeared on all 3 video shoots I had so far, she has only scuba experience from these shoots so I teamed her up with newcomer Demi who had no prior scuba experience at all.

Kara is wearing an Aqualung Bali wetsuit and is equipped with a Mares Abyss regulator.

Demi is wearing an Orca Openwater Core wetsuit and is equipped with a Scubapro MK 17 regulator.

This video was basically not scripted at all as I simply filmed how the two received a scuba crash course with the most important scuba exercises.

Sascha did a great job as the instructor and agreed to appear in the video as well.

Both frogwomen did a fine job as well, as especially the flooded mask is a tricky exercise for some scuba newbies.

Finally, these wetsuits were used for the first time. Initially, the planning was that Kara would be wearing the Orca suit, but this way both suits fitted them better.

If I film such a scuba crash course next time I wanna include some close-ups as well, perhaps just using the (limited) zoom function of the camera or changing the camera position.

First dive lesson with Frogwomen Kara and Uma [3rd video of Project F]

Today I wanna present the longest video of Project F …yet!

In this one, Frogwoman Kara has her very first dive lesson and Frogwoman Uma is also joining for some practice!

Both are guided by a nice divemaster while I am behind the camera, so up to 4 people are underwater during the filming of this video.

Both frogwomen are practicing some basic scuba skills that are crucial when you wanna be a scuba diver.

Frogwoman Kara is wearing a Cressi Fast wetsuit while breathing with a Mares Abyss regulator.

Frogwoman Uma is wearing a Camara Speedskin smooth skin wetsuit while breathing with a Scubapro C370 regulator.

Both did a really good job with these scuba exercises as they had very little (Uma) to no scuba experience (Kara).

Several exercises can be seen in the video, I thought about adding titles to sections of the video, but I don’t want to have spoilers in it 😉

I will use the spoiler function here for those who wanna be surprised by what will happen in the video! I recommend not reading it before watching the video 😉

As you can see in the pictures already some slight gear changes were made as Kara started diving barefoot. Over time that was a little too cold for her so she put on neoprene socks.

For the last 2 minutes of the video, she changed from the weight belt to a BCD vest.

Editing:

I used the same filters as before (white balance, 10% more brightness in the shadows, text).

The original/raw footage was about 17 minutes, so I cut out about half of it as some scenes were repeated and the intro and outro of each recording were (logically) cut out as well.

Perhaps I will put some of the extra footage in the VIP club in the future.

Frogwoman Kara was sadly only available for 2 hours instead of the planned 5, as there were massive train delays that day.

The frogwoman who enjoyed being in the water a little….too much

This one is on my radar for ages since it was recommended to me at least twice. Thanks a lot, folks!

Well, I’m not too excited about these scenes, but I’m sure that others will love these scenes.

A woman learns how to scuba dive in two scenes. In a third scene, she dives somehow too….but not as you may think 😉

The scenes where she is in the pool are nice, but nothing spectacular.

The struggle in the final scene is quite….interesting, of course, I would have preferred her to wear her scuba gear…but well…no luck.

But the idea of her having second thoughts about killing herself and then struggling to survive her own death trap….was well done!

An unexperienced frogwoman on her first dive

This odd scene from a Russian movie (tv show?) shows how much you can do wrong when you go on a scuba dive!

I don’t understand the Russian audio but clearly, the woman never dove before and the guy has some experience with scuba diving.

Let’s start with some preview pictures:

Oh man! These two do a LOT of things that you shouldn’t do while diving! 😉

Her excuse may be the little to no experience that she has. A fine example of why you shouldn’t dive without a proper scuba certificate!

She gets a panic attack and accidentally rips out his regulator, he should now just retrieve his regulator and the situation could be under control again.

But he grabs the regulator of the panicking frogwoman….what a disaster move!

These two have 4 working regulators in total…but what do they do? Use only 1(!) of them! Oh man…..

Of course, pulling out her regulator makes things worse and she heads to the surface….way too fast!

These two can be happy that they are still alive. 😆

Well, for today I got something very rare for you… a complete scuba documentary from the ’60s! With a length of 30 minutes!

And as a bonus, with some scuba peril scenes included!

In the beginning, everything is explained in a cartoon, but that’s just the first 6-7 minutes…don’t worry. 😉
