Ok, I don’t speak Portuguese and haven’t seen the whole episode…. so I can only speculate about certain things.

I guess, she wasn’t allowed to dive (alone) but wanted to do it anyway.

So she poisoned the guy so he would pass out. How nice of her…

But what happens to her underwater? Is she supposed to be caught on the rope there????

And she didn’t manage to get out???????

Was the tank pretty much empty, and did she pass out as she ran out of oxygen? Was that rope not a problem?

Did she poison herself as well by bad luck… or because she is stupid? And then she “just” passed out on the bottom?

Questions over questions!

Sadly, they just don’t show the most interesting parts of her underwater adventure 🙁

I guess that’s most likely a budget issue, as it is a daily soap.

Oddly enough, she is breathing on the way up… but needs to be hasselhoffed  (revived) on the surface????

All in all… an odd scene… but interesting stuff!

The way they (poorly) try to hide the fact that they are filming the underwater scenes mostly in a pool is …inspiring.

Maybe I should try that too with the next Project F video shoot 😆

Some rocks, some seaweed, a murky picture, and no one will know the difference 😉

Good that I discovered the short flashback scene as I was checking the episode again… that was a vital addition.

I wish the struggle with the stuntwoman and the diver would have been presented better, but it’s certainly a nice idea!

A bikini girl, tied up, without any equipment… vs a guy in a rubber suit, with a knife, mask, and scuba tank.

Certainly an uneven match, but the flashback explains how he could lose that fight.

The 2 frogmen have the much more interesting gear here… for my taste.

But the one female diver has the classic scuba mask that Largo and his henchmen are using in Thunderball… always a big bonus 🙂

The 2 female divers are sadly too late for the action here.

All in all a good scene with interesting gear.

He is a police diver, and she is a detective.

Seems like today every detective in a crime-thriller needs to have some sort of trauma.

In this case, she got shot in the face with a shotgun as she pursued a bad guy.

But I do think she is very attractive, no matter what.

Yeah, not the greatest peril scene but a solid one.

And quite some good “sounds”.

She saw a girl there from her dreams who is one of the missing children.

But yeah, she was reckless when she descended that fast and left her buddy.

But ok, he was also reckless; he just taught her to dive in the lake with some exercises in a few minutes…. he should know better.

But ok, it suits the storyline. Sadly her only scuba dive in the show.

He is diving a lot more and has a pretty good peril scene in episode 2 or 3.

It starts with a crazy gear-up montage, and that sets the tone for the scene…

The episode deserves an award for worst score… what gruesome music in most of these scenes.

Sadly, no (original) underwater sounds, I guess the budget didn’t allow it.

The idea of scuba diving with a total beginner with some minutes of explanation… is pretty crazy/reckless.

You can do that in a pool… but in the ocean? #crazy

I do have two theories about what is going on here:

Theory one:

She runs low on air, but he thinks that she has still enough (or can’t read her gauge?)

They struggle, she yanks his mouthpiece out, he drowns immediately(!!!!), and she then drowns as she is really out of air and can’t make it to the surface(??).

And she doesn’t use his tank for some reason.

Theory two:

Same as one, except he wanted her to drown… but then does a very poor job… at least in preserving his own life.

 

I rather think it’s theory one, but I am not sure.

I don’t know the context, as I haven’t seen the episode. It’s a crazy telenovela, and it’s in Spanish… so I won’t watch the whole thing.

Sometimes I am shocked that they film scuba scenes, seemingly without ANYONE present with some scuba knowledge.

Or they just don’t care about some advice and do their crazy script… no matter how unrealistic it is.

Background info:

Alice did a great job as she was really challenged here #breatholding

We did a lot of re-shots of the main fight scene, and you can find a lot of it in the Bonus video 😉

It was complicated, but it turned out well in the end.

The video turned out a little shorter than I hoped, but you get a Bonus video in addition, so you have over 8 minutes in total.

I think this wasn’t the last series that I will create…

Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.

Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.

Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…

I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.

I will check out other sites like Vimeo, perhaps that would be an option as well.

A longer version of this video was blocked completely; this shorter version is now “only” blocked by YouTube in Russia… odd.

All the scuba scenes are in this shorter version as well.

The longer version had more seconds on the surface and a 2nd scene where a female investigator nearly drowns in an icy lake (short scene).

Ok, I know there is little to see from her underwater. Also, the scene ends abruptly.

But… they do drown, and their bodies get found one year later.

*EDIT* August 2: Due to comments (one is sadly lost due to website reset, check comments), I was made aware that I was wrong with my initial idea that the guy was the one who was at the surface, trying to remove the door.

So, it is her trying to escape, leaving the guy alone. Quite an interesting scene… and quite horrifying as well.

I saw both episodes (double episode), and later the police found out that her regulator froze, and she actually then suffocated.

Hmh, I don’t know how realistic that is… the suffocation part. Wouldn’t she spit out the regulator once she doesn’t get any air… and then drown?

I mean, if she were to wear a full-face mask… it would seem more likely… but hard to say. I don’t know if any divers suffocate instead of drowning.

Ok, maybe the wording is just wrong…

It is supposed to be a door that blocks the entry point to the ice. Hmh, must be a very heavy door then, or something is on top of it as well.

The scenario is really gruesome!

Quite a thrilling scene… but a bit short and abruptly ended.

Yeah, well…. it clearly looks as if the animators used a male model for most of the time for Wendy.

Yeah, I guess the budget was pretty limited for that kids’ TV show.

You can first see that it is a woman as she pulls off the helmet/mask.

But the audio and the scene are very interesting! She is stuck and abandons her oxygen tank, a bold move.

Then she gets stuck again… hmh… they surely like to see her in trouble 😉

A little hard to believe that she could be stuck like that with her fin… but ok, don’t overthink it.

The speaker does a great job presenting her perilous situation as she grunts while trying to get free.

A short scene with some flaws… but still an interesting peril scene for sure.

It’s time for a NEW video from Project F!

This is video 57, the sixth from the 8th video shoot.

In this video, 3 frogwomen compete in a scuba gameshow episode of “Hunt for the Golden Coin”.

So, this is the first scenario where 3 frogwomen are fighting each other in a Project F video!

(in terms of all 3 are on different sides)

Yes, this is the second time we used that concept. It was easy to film, and three female divers fighting each other is a good scenario…

Background info:

I was conflicted about whether to put that last picture in the gallery or even in the trailer.

Of course, it’s a …sort of… spoiler. But you still can’t know who will win this time.

You might have a strong opinion of who will definitely NOT win…

For me, that scene is the highlight of the video, so I must use it fully in promoting the video… it would be a crazy call if I didn’t.

The three had a bit of a routine now in this special scenario, as it was the second (and last) time we used it.

The video is longer than the first version and uses the same intro sequence where the show concept and the contestants are introduced.

The editing of this was extremely easy, especially in comparison to the last video (56) that I published.

The three did a great job.

In this, you see that the camera isn’t always safe from the frogwomen’s fins 😉 #collision

At some point in the video, the evil camera guy adds a knife to the gameshow 😉

Also, you can clearly hear a “grunt” from one of the frogwomen. I am happy that the camera did pick that up.

I wanna include that more often in the future, if the frogwomen are ok with it.

Perhaps I will use this scenario (or a more vicious one?) in the future video shoots.
