Wearing a breathing device can be a big disadvantage! (inspiring scenes from the Avengers)

This post will be a little different…

The bad news: There are no female scuba divers in this one, not even any woman at all.

But…. but… I think many of you will find this interesting nonetheless 😉

Some weeks ago I finished the Emma Peel episodes of “The Avengers” (the 60s TV show, not the superheroes).

No scuba women to be found there… but I did stumble upon two very interesting scenes!

In both scenes a man is wearing a breathing device (gas mask/FFM) and in both cases that becomes a massive problem.

Why that? And why is this inspiring? Check it out….

Here is the video:

(unlisted on Youtube as there are no frogwomen in it…)

Watch the video before you continue!

Ok, let’s start with the man with the gas mask who emerges from the closet…

There should have been gas in the room which should have knocked Steed out, but Steed found out about it.

So, no gas in the room and this actually gives Steed an easy opportunity to put the sneaky gas mask attacker to sleep.

He pinches his air hose thereby denying him any air. The attacker tries to get the gas mask off but Steed manages to prevent that.

So the attacker passes out.

I really like this scene a lot! Very inspiring….

Steed is thinking really quickly here as he immediately grabs the air hose of the guy, good job.

Now imagine the same scene… with a female attacker…. in color…. and with some sexy suit maybe 😉

Damn…. that would be even (much) more awesome!

In the second scene, Steed is the one with the breathing device and that quickly becomes his downfall!

The guys wrestle him down, turn off his air, and make sure that he can’t get the mask off…. nice thinking!

Very interesting that the producers have two very similar scenes like that in that season!

Maybe they had some kinks for such things 😉

It’s a little odd how quickly Steed passes out but ok.

Also, the air hose isn’t even connected anymore to the mask at the end… they cheated there.

But the principle stays the same….

I am thinking about having such a “stop the airflow” scene at the surface as well in a future video 😉

And then with a frogwoman… of course!

A female diver in FFM, a villain, great whites and a wreck [# 2]

Time to present another scene from this movie…

Post from last week:

https://frogwoman.org/a-female-diver-in-ffm-a-villain-great-white-sharks-and-a-wreck-1

So, what do we have here?

The villain and our frogwoman are diving down to the wreck again to collect some drugs.

Soon she won’t be “useful” to him anymore…. 😉

Watch the video before you continue!

I cut out some non-scuba scenes here to keep the video under a certain length… incl. a flashback scene of her as a kid and her father who dies in a boating disaster (storm).

Hmh… an interesting peril scene for sure!

You don’t see that often… a guy who knocks out a female diver and then locks her up underwater? Quite unique 🙂

But there are some weird aspects to it…

Yeah, he closes the heavy doors on her, and she might not get them open again, I’ll buy that.

But I think he has seen the openings in the deck structure before… so… why does he think that she can’t get out of there?

And what about that second knock that hits her dive mask?

She was unconscious already, was his idea to destroy the visor of the mask so that her mask would flood and she would basically drown while being unconscious?

If that was his plan… why didn’t he realize that the visor was still intact?

However he then just swims away…

Of course, I would have preferred if he would have sneaked up on her and sliced her air hose! That would have been awesome…

A real scuba fight between her and the villain would have been a great addition to the movie, but …no luck.

Her plan to attract one of the sharks to the villain by launching his BCD in his direction was interesting… also it was odd that they ignored him previously.

A very risky plan…

However, the whole scene is very interesting, and my highlight of the movie!

The scenes are often quite dark (lighting) but well that’s realistic after all ….down there it IS dark so we only have the flashlights of the divers.

All in all, I was positively surprised by this movie.

I mean I saw the trailer and just thought about another crappy shark movie with perhaps 30 seconds of scuba scenes… but no… I was wrong!

The Blu-ray will be in my collection….

A female diver in FFM, a villain, great whites and a wreck [# 1]

Watched a new movie last week with a LOT of scuba scenes 🙂

Time to present a first scene today!

I will make another post next week with my favorite scuba scene of that movie…

So, what do we have here?

A female scuba diver with FFM who hides in a wreck!

Why? Well, you will find out soon enough…

Yeah, I really like the sounds that she is making. A solid perilous situation!

I don’t like that ugly FFM type very much but it’s seemingly very popular with producers of new movies as the whole face is visible in it…

Putting Madalina Ghenea in a wetsuit wasn’t a bad idea… a frogwoman with such twins… a VERY rare sight!

… and the producers made sure to feature them properly throughout the movie 😆

Of course, the movie uses the fantasy of hyper-aggressive killer sharks, but ok, if that results in perilous scenes like here, I am all for it 😉

I will post a bit more about the movie next week when I post my favorite scene from the movie.

*EDIT* The second post:

https://frogwoman.org/a-female-diver-in-ffm-a-villain-great-whites-and-a-wreck-2

I do recommend that you check out the movie! I mean it’s not great, but entertaining enough with only about 85 minutes and has several scuba scenes in it.

Always good to get the chance to watch a new movie with some scuba scenes 🙂

P.S.:

Here is the odd/bad German Blu-ray cover:

Hmh…. not the best cover to promote the movie 😆

(The shark effects in the movie are quite ok for most of the time)

A female scuba diver trapped underwater [A new dive movie you MUST see!]

Remember this movie/ blog post?

https://frogwoman.org/breaking-surface-my-review-2-videos-and-much-more

Well, that Swedish/Norwegian movie was made in 2020 and filmed in Norway.

And now, just 3 years later, we have a German(!) remake that was filmed in Malta.

As a German, I am always happy when there is a new German movie that isn’t a crime movie, drama, or a comedy… because it feels like 99% fit in these genres 😆

Quite odd that there is a remake just 3 years later, but I guess since “Breaking Surface” wasn’t filmed in English… maybe they thought that this new movie, which was filmed in English …has a better chance of making money?

If you have seen “Breaking Surface” (what you should have/do!) then you know practically the whole storyline of this new movie as well.

The remake is mostly verrrry close to the original.

So, is there any point in watching the new one when you have seen the old one?

Yes, quite a few!

The main differences are:

– 2 new actresses (obviously)

– The cold water (Norway) scenario was now swapped with warm water (Malta/Mediterranean)

– The dive gear is now different:

Breaking Surface has drysuits and Ocean Reef FFMs while the new one has normal wetsuits and FFMs where you can see the full face (brand?)

– Some minor story changes incl. (even) less backstory in this one

But enough text for now…..

(You have to watch the video directly on YouTube this time, embedding it here wasn’t allowed)

I thought the video would be completely blocked on YouTube but it was “only” blocked in a handful of countries.

But over 90% of you guys should be able to see it.

Maybe I will add a Google Drive link later on… if that seems necessary.

Well, most of all I am intrigued by the fantastic breathing sounds in this scene!!!

Wow, they had either a great UW mic for that and/or did an awesome post-production job!

I guess I never heard how a scuba tank was sucked completely empty…that clearly.

Also, the whole mask switching scenes are also very exciting/thrilling as well.

The movie itself has around 90 minutes (nearly 10 minutes longer than the original) and the majority of that time is spent underwater.

For that aspect alone you should watch the whole thing!

And then you have all the scuba peril elements in it… 🙂

Perhaps I will post another scene from this one. But as the movie has so much UW time, it will always be pretty incomplete.

The story remains the same as in the original: Two sisters go diving, one of them gets trapped underwater and the other one needs to rescue her in time.

I wonder if there will be a US remake in another few years from now on.

I wouldn’t mind a remake set in the ’60s with some vintage rubber wetsuits and double hose regulators…

More scenes of the female police diver

[2nd post for today]

Time for more scenes from a certain movie!

Last week’s post:

https://frogwoman.org/5-tech-divers-and-a-deadly-scuba-accident-post-1-of-2-news-on-video-25-of-project-f

Today I wanna post 3 more scenes of her combined into one video (2 are really short).

Here is the video:

Watch the video before you continue!

I edited the first scene a little and cut out about a second or so to (hopefully) prevent getting an age restriction by Amish Youtube even though that scene may be totally harmless by US standards.

Quite a dark scene in several ways. But I love the sounds and her dive mask is interesting as well.

Later on, she is her house, which used to be the house of her parents who got killed some years ago.

Quite a nice pool and I like that she has all the scuba gear at her house.

Of course, it’s rather shallow but still, great to have such an indoor pool.

Later on, she seemingly stays a while underwater to relax and clear her head.

Maybe she enjoys that pool in other ways as well, but I can only speculate about that 😆

Frogwomen Alice and Caity in “The Sneaky Frogwoman” – [22nd video of Project F – 3rd video shoot]

So, it’s time for the fifth video of the 3rd video shoot of “Project F”!

In this video, Alice and Caity are diving in the pool with full face masks! They pose for the camera and dive around… but one of them has sinister plans 😉

Frogwomen Alice and Caity in “The Sneaky Frogwoman”, 1080p, 60 frames, 4:21 minutes

Some preview pictures:

+ a short teaser:

Feel welcome to hit the LIKE button of the video on YouTube! 😉

Video contains:

2 frogwomen, neoprene, 2 smooth skin wetsuits (both beavertails, one of them also vintage-style), scuba peril, scuba fight, modern scuba gear,

vintage gear, vintage FFM, modern FFM, hoods (2 of 2), gloves, fins, scuba knife, surface shot

Lethal or non-lethal ending for at least one of them?

Spoiler title
Non-Lethal

Background info:

I thought about including more pictures of their fight, but I don’t wanna post too many spoilers 😉

Yeah, this video is over 4 minutes and still in the VIP club, consider these 21 seconds as extra bonus for free. I thought about a longer version for an individual sale, but the extra footage wasn’t making this a better video.

Then I thought to cut it just below 4 minutes… but that felt somehow wrong as then something would be missing.

When we are doing the video shoot I always feel a little bit too rushed, as the time in the pool is limited and every hour costs money.

I need to get a bit more relaxed there so that cleaning up the background (pictures 1 and 2) should be done, but I was too rushed.

So, … involuntarily… these pictures include some behind-the-scenes footage …but your focus should be on them anyhow.

The video is mainly divided into 3 parts: Some surface shooting where they strap on their masks (incl. breathing sounds), some close-up footage underwater, and then a fight scene at the end.

I used a (simple) script on this one, and it worked out quite well, the scenario is rather simple.

I want to include real storylines in the future as well, even if that makes things more complicated. Especially continuity errors can happen very easily underwater and communication underwater is very limited… even when you use simple tools.

So, the quantity of video we can film in one session will go down… but if the quality improves on the other hand, that should be a good thing.

Alice and Caity did deliver a really good performance here again and their scuba experience paid off. The vintage Technisub FFM that Alice is wearing isn’t easy to handle with the lower straps and their locking mechanism. It’s also not very comfortable to dive with, especially in comparison to the OTS Guardian that Caity is using.

There is certainly room for improvement here, but all in all, I’m happy with how the video turned out for the limited time that was available.

Editing:

I used some filters (10% more brightness in gamma and gain, text)

Where to watch it?

The video is available again NOW in April in the VIP club alongside the other content!

Here is a quick overview of the content of this month:

https://frogwoman.org/frogwoman-vip-club-2-0-april-2024

or

…get the video any time you want:

https://frogwoman.org/project-f-videos/project-f-video-packages

You can watch and download these videos in the VIP club, but only for personal use!

Don’t share them with anyone…. anywhere!

It’s pretty simple, I had to spend a lot of money:

All that scuba gear, location rent, and the money for the frogwomen and the safety diver.

If I don’t make enough money with these videos….. I won’t be able to make new videos at some point.

I hope you appreciate these videos and want to see more in the future!

After all, you get all those Project F videos + additional content for just 12 euros (or even less per month if you get into the VIP club for more than one month).

I would say that is quite a bargain!

Also, I do hope that the amount of VIP club members will be higher with the current price as it would be with a higher price.

The rotation periods for each video will get a little longer though. When a video leaves the VIP club it will be out for at least 4 months.

But still, there will be 5-6 Project F videos in it each month 😉

A female diver and…..Aliens!

This is a scene from a classic, well known-movie. So far the scene wasn’t on my blog and I decided to change that.

In this scene, a female diver is doing some maintenance work as suddenly the power goes off.

She will have a very special experience….

Preview:

And here is the video:

Yeah, very little in terms of action and peril, but the scene has other interesting aspects.

First of all, this is quite an amazing scene as she is meeting alien lifeforms who are ….unlike in most movies…. don’t attack her.

She is calm and doesn’t panic as she is seeing an unknown lifeform that has just sneaked up on her.

I really like the breathing sounds here in combination with the bubbles that leave her helmet.

The scuba gear here isn’t exactly so interesting as her helmet and wetsuit are rather far away from being sexy.

If I would make a “female diver encounters alien lifeform” scene, the alien would be very curious, and it would have more of a body.

It might try out how the oxygen supply of the diver would work and might start playing with it 😉

In case you don’t know from which movie this is:
