Woman in makeshift hazmat/space suit is in danger of suffocating

So, no scuba scene for today… but here and there I wanna build in a scene with another sort of breathing device.

This scene is from a very new episode of a hit TV show, so chances are good that you don’t know it already… unless you are already watching this show/season.

In this scene, a woman in a makeshift hazmat/space suit wants to get into an underground facility.

And her air is running out completely….

Ok, I bet you have a ton of questions! 😉

Right now I may only answer some of them…

This episode aired about one week ago and there are still tons of questions that need to be answered…

Ok, outside that Silo the air is toxic, that is why she is wearing that makeshift suit.

A big issue on that makeshift suit is the tape that seals off the suit from outside air coming in at the ankles and wrists.

She realizes that one tap isn’t fully sealing one part, so she is losing air… even though there isn’t any sound effect that would indicate that.

But then it gets weird…. she gets some tools and runs down that staircase. Why?

Why doesn’t she fix her problems right away? I don’t know.

Then she is out of air and about to suffocate. #greatbreathingsounds

And then, instead of just removing the helmet… she smashes her visor, which is quite dangerous with that crowbar.

Are special tools needed to remove the helmet without destroying it? I don’t know.

Then she pours some brown liquid over her suit.. perhaps to wash off some toxins?

 And why is she then slicing her precious suit with a cutter? Which is also very dangerous. #dontcutyourself

She destroyed her suit pretty well, I guess she is 100% sure that she will never use it?

I hope this will all be somehow explained in the next episodes… and I will update this post… if that happens.

However, all these questions besides…. I think that is a great scene.

There are some more minutes with her in that suit where she falls on her back another time.

I was waiting for her vulnerable air hose to get damaged… but that didn’t happen.

The intensity of that suffocation scene is great, especially with those sound effects.

And wow, she plays it really well as she gives everything to stay alive.

It’s quite ironic how the suit that should keep her safe becomes a danger in itself in this scene.

Frogwomen Scarlett and Kara in “View of the Frogwoman” – [Video 43 of Project F – 6th video shoot]

So, it’s time for the next “Project F” video of the last video shoot from August!

This is video 43, the seventh from the 6th video shoot.

In this video, Frogwoman Kara is filming from her perspective and takes you on a special inside view.

A mixture between a “Behind the Scenes” video and a “Scuba Combat Training” video… all that from a POV perspective.

Well, it’s a training scenario….

Background info:

At one time 2 videos were made simultaneously during the last video shot.

One camera was with Alice and Meg as they filmed video 38.

The other was mounted on Kara’s scuba mask at that time.

The initial plan was that they would film a scuba combat training video … just/only… from the POV perspective.

The footage that I found on the camera was too short, so I decided to leave nearly all of the raw footage in the video and it became this mixture of “Behind the Scenes” and

“Scuba Combat Training” POV video.

The focus is clearly on Frogwomen Scarlett as the camera is mounted on Kara’s scuba mask during this video.

You will also see some glimpses of Alice and Meg here and there.

You will see quite some footage that you normally wouldn’t see… and you will hear Kara’s breathing very well, as the camera is only around 15 centimeters away from her mouthpiece.

If I don’t make enough money with these videos….. I won’t be able to make new videos at some point.

After all, you get all those Project F videos each month  + additional content for just 12 euros (or even less per month if you get into the VIP club for more than one month).

I would say that is quite a bargain!

Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?

Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.

Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.

Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…

I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.

I will check out other sites like Vimeo though, if that would be an option or not.

The future of Project F?

I will release two new videos from this video shoot in December.

And the second one will even come in 2 different versions (my favorite video from that video shoot)!

I have at least 9 videos in total that will be released from this video shoot, so the rest of the year is covered with new releases 🙂

In 2025, the next video shoot in that (deep) pool will be in early March, and then a lake video shoot in the summer (finally!!!).

So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

Feedback needed! [Project F videos]

Hey folks!

I do realize how often the Project F trailers on YouTube are watched and how many new VIP subscriptions and Video package deals there are each month.

But most of the time I can only guess who you like a Project F video.

I am not sooo happy about the numbers in the last two months (VIP subscriptions + Video package deals), even though the monthly numbers don’t include active long-term memberships from previous months.

Today I wanna encourage you to send me feedback!

Just reply to a VIP club or Video package deal email that I sent you.

– Feedback about the Project F videos you watched (What did you like, what didn’t you like)

– What would you like to see in the future? (gear, story, etc.)

 

The next video shoot is in early March and I am already collecting ideas for it.

I have written down some notes about aspects that need to be improved in the future.

I do have some hunches about what you folks would like to see more (more deadly endings? more close-ups? grunts?).

I also think that I … maybe… should focus on making fewer videos in the time I have on such a video shot, but then make longer ones with more takes and more script.

Perhaps I will then only release one new video per month instead of two.

A female diver, a male diver… and a hungry shark

I wanted to post about this one for quite some time now, even though the movie is rather new.

The movie itself is… bad, but it has a scuba scene in it!

Ok, the CGI effects are really bad! I guess there was only a 20$ budget for those…

I’m not a big fan of such lycra suits, and her gear combo is quite… odd.

Completely bare legs in combination with a hood?

That’s like wearing a coat and shorts 😆

But she looks good on the surface and underwater and the scuba scene is solid (if you ignore the CGI aspect… and the behavior of the “shark”).

Also, there must be a hell of a current as they are so far away from each other after he surfaced… but ok, not really important.

Don’t bother to watch the rest of the movie… it’s not worth it.

This is the best part of it 😉

Frogwomen Meg and Scarlett in “Learning Scuba 3” – [Video 42 of Project F – 6th video shoot]

So, it’s time for the next “Project F” video of the last video shoot from August!

This is video 42, the sixth from the 6th video shoot.

In this video, Frogwoman Scarlett gets the first scuba lesson (for real) as Frogwoman Meg teaches her the most basic scuba skills!

Background info:

This was Scarlett’s first diving experience and she did really well, and Meg did an excellent job in teaching her these scuba skills!

They wanted to practice these skills in shallow water first, I filmed some bits of it before they went down into deep water (4 meters), and the actual video began.

In the background, you sometimes see Kara and Alice. Kara was doing a video with the selfie stick… more on that next month and Alice was the safety diver.

This time I wanted to have more footage with both the teacher and the student on it at the same time.

Next time I will also include some frontal close-ups… if that scenario gets done then (if someone participates who has no scuba experience at all).

I think this perspective was a good compromise between seeing both at the same time (often) and getting them close enough to the camera.

This time a buddy breathing exercise was included at the end.
