I edited the first scene a little and cut out about a second or so to (hopefully) prevent getting an age restriction by Amish Youtube even though that scene may be totally harmless by US standards.

Quite a dark scene in several ways. But I love the sounds and her dive mask is interesting as well.

Later on, she is her house, which used to be the house of her parents who got killed some years ago.

Quite a nice pool and I like that she has all the scuba gear at her house.

Of course, it’s rather shallow but still, great to have such an indoor pool.

Later on, she seemingly stays a while underwater to relax and clear her head.

Maybe she enjoys that pool in other ways as well, but I can only speculate about that 😆

5 tech divers and a deadly scuba accident!?! [Post 1 of 2] + News on Video 25 of Project F

I know about this movie for quite a while since I stumbled upon the cover of the German Bluray.

And as I found out that the main character of the movie is a (female) police diver… I got very thrilled to watch/buy this one 😉

Now, it’s finally time to make the first post about it!

Another one will follow…

Kiki (a female police diver), her brother and parents, and a close family friend wanna get a new dive record. But something goes horribly wrong!

This is from the German TV airing of the Belgian movie. Don’t know if there is an English dub for it.

I added the second scene to help to clear some of the confusion as it tells some very important facts about the fatal dive.

First of all, it’s a shame that the actual scuba fights/murders aren’t shown at all in the movie.

You have to imagine it with the clues from the later scene which is in the video above.

Kiki and her brother are already at their own record depth and can’t dive any deeper to (potentially) save their parents.

Both ascend too fast, which is no wonder after what they have been through. But they survive… unlike their parents.

Spoiler title
Cezaire who was the fifth guy had some serious issues with the parents of Kiki and he is the killer.

All in all, it’s a nice peril scene, even though most of the action isn’t shown.

Seeing Kiki diving with that gear is a nice treat though!

I will make another video with 2 underwater/dive scenes with her, not much action there… but they are interesting as well!

A Japanese Frogwoman in a rubber wetsuit …and the rubber monster

Found a picture of this frogwoman on DeviantArt and immediately knew that that would make a good blog post… so thanks for uploading that picture! 🙂

We have a frogwoman in a lovely vintage rubber wetsuit and also a “monster”!

Hmh, not exactly a fan of this color mixture on her… but I always love a (black) rubber wetsuit!

The brown fins match the brown part of the wetsuit, but I’m not too fond of the color. The addition of a green cowl is pretty “wild” 😆

However, she looks great nonetheless in that outfit!

A shame that she had only that very short scene where she was actually diving in real water.

The fake underwater scene looks pretty weird, with no bubbles at all, and so on.

I don’t fully get what this all is about as the video has just Japanese language and no subtitles.

In my version, there wouldn’t be a monster but some evil frogwomen and she would have to battle them 😉

A vintage frogwoman in a very thin rubber wetsuit [Full movie]

Time to finally post about this one…

This scene is from a TV pilot from 1959, and I am actually surprised that this was aired back in the day in the US.

Since the whole movie (just 27 minutes) is on Youtube, I won’t make a video of it.

Yeah, certainly a nice scene!

First of all… that wetsuit of hers is quite unusual.

It looks like it is verrrry thin like 1 millimeter, otherwise, you wouldn’t see as “much” of her as we do in the movie 😉

And also it is reeeeeally tight-fitting… sometimes it looks more like she would wear a latex suit, but that isn’t the case.

Damn, I wish there would have been an underwater action scene with her in the movie… but well, in a TV pilot from 1959, that is extremely unlikely.

Even if they would have included her in an action scene underwater… they would have even used a male stunt double for her… back in the day.

But that would have been difficult with that wetsuit….very difficult… 😆

 

A shame that this TV pilot didn’t result in a TV show.

We might have gotten some more female vintage scuba scenes….

Sophia Loren in vintage scuba gear… again! – Scene 3

Now the third and final scuba scene of this movie!

As a nice guy mentioned, the woman in the underwater scenes is “Scilla Gabel” who was here as the stunt/dive double for Sophia Loren.

As this scene is somehow similar in most aspects to the other two scenes with her….I just repeat what I said last time 😉

If you are a regular visitor to this blog you should know what my biggest issue here is….

Yeah, not a big fan of the aspect that she is diving in her normal street clothes, pretty much the unsexiest cloth someone might wear for diving.

On the other hand, it’s a young Sophia Loren and she looks gorgeous in anything.

In my version, she would have worn a vintage scuba suit from that era.

I also really love that she is using a double hose regulator, looks great!

Of course, I would have loved an action/peril scene here, perhaps the combination of some sharp rocks with her vulnerable intake air hose 😉

However two good scuba scenes with Sophia Loren in interesting gear.

There is one more scuba scene from this movie which will be posted as well in the next weeks.

Female scuba diver lost at sea

…and no, I am not talking about the movie “Open Water” 😉

We have a woman and a guy who dive around and get quite surprised when they resurface!

Not sure how realistic it is that it would drift away and then also drift away from sight completely in the matter of one dive.

But that’s not important.

All in all a nice perilous scene, even if the peril happens on the surface.

Interestingly the guy uses the regulator that normally is mounted on an Interspiro AGA full-face scuba mask.

Quite unusual.

Some really nice underwater footage is included.

If I would have filmed that scenario an evil frogwoman in black rubber would have sneaked onto the boat during their dive and would have stolen it to leave them to their fate.

Much cooler than the boat just drifting away 😉

Some chicks in vintage wetsuits, a moron, and a superheroine

This one was recommended to me once or twice over the years… and now it’s time to make a post about it.

We have a group of young folks with their scuba teacher, all in quite different vintage wetsuits.

One of them is a moron who likes to take big risks and gets into trouble underwater.

Luckily this show is about a certain superheroine…

Damn, I wish one of the women had been in the wetsuit that the guy was wearing.

But his girlfriend looks certainly good in her wetsuit as well!

A shame that the episode has basically no female scuba scenes in it, but the women in their vintage wetsuits are certainly reason enough to watch it.

The episode is very on the nose with its educational message and the moron is a good showcase of why you should dive with a partner and should think.

The way he squeezes himself into the tight space is really dumb, especially as he seemingly doesn’t even try to get out the same way he got stuck.

But perhaps his plan was to get stuck so Isis would show up and rescue him 😉

All in all a solid scene in my opinion.

Sophia Loren in vintage scuba gear… again! – Scenes 1 and 2

I know about this one for a long time and was rather surprised I haven’t posted about it.

Time that the scuba scenes of this movie get on this blog as well!

We have the gorgeous Italian actress Sophia Loren in it and she was only around 23 back then as the movie was filmed.

Some great wetsuit scenes from an insane movie

This movie was recommended to me ages ago and I always refused to post about it.

Then it was recommended to me again just a week ago and I changed my mind.

Thanks again for the reco./reminder!

Still, this is a totally insane movie where the producers must have been on drugs all the time…. BUT… here and there it has some interesting snippets 🙂

So, you don’t have to skip through the craziness and can enjoy the good parts….

Ok, I don’t know what is really happening in this movie and I don’t care, it’s just an insane “comedy” written by someone in an asylum (my guess).

For most of the movie a guy is flying around …without any flying gear… so…. I don’t care about the “story”.

I don’t know how she is suddenly in the net as she was next to that canoe some seconds ago!?!

I don’t even know why she even is in the water…. and I don’t wanna know 😆

For a second I hoped she was there to drown him… but well, it’s a “comedy”, so that won’t happen.

Also interesting how his shirt changes from red to blue stripes 😆

But, I really love her sexy vintage rubber wetsuit! And that makes it worth making a video out of these scenes 😉

Yeah, I would prefer it in black, but it looks great in blue as well. Not often you do see such wetsuits in color in a movie… so, I am thankful for those short snippets.

These soft helmets the parachuters are wearing remind me of good old Angelo 😉
