My Top 20 female action scuba scenes in one video – [Cliffhanger edition – TV/movies]

Most of you guys will have stumbled upon my “Hall of Fame” here by now.

I always wanted to make a video with all these scenes in it.

Last week I started the work on it and quickly realized that the video was going to get over 30 minutes long.

A pretty safe bet that the video wouldn’t stay for long on YouTube if it would be allowed at all.

Then I came up with the idea to make each segment from each scene much shorter and had the idea to make this cliffhanger edition/cut.

In this video, you will now find all my favorite 20 scenes. The order in the video is the order they are listed on my Hall of Fame page, which is in no particular order.

The number at the bottom is the listed number of the Hall of Fame.

In there, you will find the full version of each scene in case you wanna know how the scene actually ends 😉

I guess that most of you guys know most of the scenes already… but it’s a treat to have them all in one video.

The picture quality of each segment depends on the available source material.

The quest for the frogwoman trailer! Vote!

Just today the Frogwoman org Youtube channel reached 5000 subscribers.

I uploaded the first 4 (slightly) different versions of a trailer.

In these trailers, you can find my favorite peril and wetsuit scenes from the movies.

Scenes from more than 50(!) movies and TV shows are included to have a fast-paced trailer with around three and a half minutes.

I hope you appreciate the effort it took of putting this together.

Do you know this movie?

A blog visitor contacted me and asked for a movie title. Perhaps someone knows the movie title to this description?

“I’m looking for the name of a movie where a guy with no equipment in a large pool drowned some divers. The movie was from the 60’s or 70’s. I don’t think the women were there, but the action was fun. Do you know anything?”

 

Would be great if someone would know the title…

R.I.P. Sir Sean Connery

Yesterday was a very sad day.

Legendary Sir Sean Connery passed away on the Bahamas, aged 90.

I have quite a lot of his movies in my collection and he played a part in many fantastic movies like the James Bond movies, A Bridge too far, Indiana Jones and the last Crusade, the Untouchables and many more.

I could write a lot more about his other movies, but after all this blog is named Frogwoman, so why am I posting about him?

Well, the answer is quite simple:

The movie Thunderball influenced a LOT of people to get into scuba diving.

Sadly there was only one short scene were a woman actually scuba dives (Claudine Auger, who passed away in December last year).

But the movie offers over 30 minutes of underwater scenes and still -after over 50 years- the best scuba fight scenes in history!

I can’t possible tell how often I watched the movie and certain scenes of it.

Again I could write here endlessly about certain scenes…..but as a matter of fact…I already did.

Thank you for everything!

You will be missed, but you will live on in all of these great movies 🙂

And that is were they filmed most of the scenes of Thunderball.

Missing e-mail address

Today I’m not very motivated to post anything which is on the way too short list of stuff I could post.

It’s time for some fresh input!

P.S.:

On October 22nd the german Blu-ray of Breaking surface will come out and I can finally see that movie!!! I am waiting for that one since February!

And then I can enjoy it in a language I can understand and in the best picture quality. 🙂

This week a verrrry interesting movie with a lot of scuba scenes was released!

I saw it and am still HYPED about an awesome scuba fight scene….Hall of Fame material….in my TOP 5 of all time!!!!!

….and I have seen quite a lot by now…. 😉
