The time has come!

The time has come for the first Project F video from the video shot earlier this month!

This is video 46, the first from the 7th video shoot.

In this video, a social media star wants to present a scuba experiment with the help of her new assistant.

She wants to demonstrate how long a scuba tank lasts when the regulator hose gets sliced like in the movies!

Things go smoothly…. until one of them has “special” plans for the other one!

Background info:

It was the second Project F video shoot for Korra and the fifth for Lucy.

This video was initially planned for Lucy and Kara, but Kara got ill… so plans needed to be changed.

I like the element of a sudden/sneaky attack in a scuba fight, and I always wanted to do a scenario where someone makes a video, and then things don’t go as planned… to put it mildly 😉

This video has the first English dialogue in a Project F video!

Korra plays her role of the cliche influencer/social media star great as she got her dialogue right on the very first try!

The underwater scenes were re-shot here and there, and I combined the best material in the video in a way that would fit the best way possible.

We ruined a rather cheap, new hose here, so it wouldn’t be so expensive. The hose was connected to the regulator and immediately lost air as the O-ring was total crap 🙁

We swapped that, of course, as I had some spares… but we lost some minutes for that.

The video was a challenge, especially for Korra, who was without air for quite some time, but she performed really well (Lucy did as well).

The final video got a little shorter than intended, so I decided to add most of the available interesting footage as bonus material!

So you will see alternative takes, behind-the-scenes material, and material that didn’t make it to the final video for different reasons.

Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?

Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.

Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.

Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…

I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.

I will check out other sites like Vimeo, perhaps that would be an option as well.

The future of Project F?

I will release 2 more videos in April, 1 more in May, and 2 more in June from this video shoot (so 6 in total).

Later this year (July/August?) I wanna have the first Project F video shoot in a lake.

So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

Now with just one female diver, but 2 fantasy CGI sharks who are very interested in her…

Some intense scenes, even the “sharks” are really screwed up. Some bad CGI, some roaring :lol:, and a cartoony aggressiveness.

Still interesting scenes with her in quite some danger.

An odd fact that she loses her fins in the cage, but ok… losing fins does happen more often than you would expect 😉 #projectF

There are also some nice close-ups with her in this scene and that regulator looks pretty cool, like the design!

There are also 2 more scenes with her, but one just with swimming on the surface and one laughable bad one underwater where she has a special bonding moment with one of those sharks….. yeah… no kidding. Will certainly not post these here.

I cut out some scenes where the military is observing her with a drone (like you see at the very end), so the video wouldn’t get too long.

But basically, the creature is in peril and thinks the military guys wanna harm it and creates a massive wave.

The wave is racing towards the boat but dies down before it hits it, as the alien wants to spare the old guy (I guess).

She ascends because she (rightfully)  thinks he is in trouble.

These are just my assumptions. Haven’t seen the whole thing and my French from school is quite …rusty.

She is lucky to be alive as she smashed against that rocks. The bleeding looked quite bad at first, but she was ok in the end.

Quite an unusual scuba peril scene for sure!

And as I said before… I like her FFM, looks really good 🙂

For some reason, I couldn’t find this on the blog, another one that got lost over the years… I guess.

That has to change… and that will happen today!

The scuba scene isn’t that great… but it’s a rather epic scene, because… of …… well…. reasons!

Ok, yes… the underwater scene isn’t really interesting. Yeah, some short diving snippets and some real footage of a great white. Ok.

And I am pretty sure that isn’t Tia Carrere who does the actual diving.

Certainly, the dorky assistant guy on the boat is blessed… while his smoking-hot boss is underwater, he hangs out with another hot woman on the boat…. could be (much) worse!

The real highlights of these scenes are certainly the surface shots with Tia, even it would have been great to have a full view of her in that wetsuit on the surface at some point.

Of course, I would have preferred if she had met some treasure hunters underwater instead of the shark… but no luck here.

Still, this is certainly a very good scene 🙂

P.S.: The added breathing sounds are an interesting choice 🙂

Female scuba diver gets knocked out by a shark

However, I got a better quality picture (720p) this time and brightened the picture a bit, as the original is verrrrry dark.

Yeah, I’m not a big fan of night dives, even if it works in such a movie… in terms of atmosphere.

But you just can see a lot less…. and that’s a shame since Kristy Swanson looks great in that wetsuit.

This peril scene is pretty unique… as not often divers get knocked out by a shark 😉

Even she isn’t fully knocked out… at first.

But ok, since her regulator was still in her mouth, she wasn’t in immediate danger.

The Scubapro regulator type that she used was also featured in some Project F videos.

There is some more footage of her in that wetsuit on that ship, but I decided to not make the video any longer (as that can be problematic).

All in all a good scuba peril scene… in my opinion!

Background info (*edited December 28*):

There are TWO versions (Codename: “Raspberry” and “Strawberry”) of the events that happened in the pool.

You can then decide which you like better 😉

Plus, you ALSO get a video with alternative takes… that didn’t make it into the final videos.

This video was very demanding of Alice, who was the freediver in this one. We did some extra takes, and she needed to hold her breath for them as well.

As Alice has extensive freediving training… she was the logical choice for that role, and she performed great!

Project F veteran Kara and Project F newbie Scarlett also did a good job here.

This was the last video we shot that day, and we filmed on this one until we ran out of time.

I am happy with the video, even though there is room for improvement … of course.

Maybe I will use the “freediver VS scuba diver(s)” scenario again in the future… with more time at hand. It is certainly a very interesting scenario!

3 guys, one woman, a wreck dive, and…. eels! [Blog exclusive]

Is it Sunday already?

No, not yet… but as I don’t have time on Sunday to make my usual post on Sunday… you will get this one 2 days early!

I watched this one last year in the cinema and just yesterday on Blu-ray.

The time that this scene finally shows up here!

We have 3 guys and a woman who go on a wreck dive to retrieve a historic relic.

But things go wrong….

Yeah, there are quite some aspects that I don’t like about this.

First of all… I don’t like that they don’t use scuba tanks but these long hoses.

And there is a LOT of CGI involved here. Just look at these crazy bubbles 😆 …for example.

Her wetsuit is nice, even the guys have much cooler/sexier ones.

By the way: Damn, she is only wearing a shorty wetsuit but has that amount of lead on her? Plus these weighted shoes on top.

Wouldn’t it be extremely hard to ascend like that? But ok, details….

The peril scene with the CGI eels is nice, better than nothing for sure.

She is forced into a crazy ascend, that would be insanely dangerous… and probably lethal depending on the actual depth.

All in all a nice scene in my opinion.

So, it’s time for the next “Project F” video of the last video shoot from August!

This is video 43, the seventh from the 6th video shoot.

In this video, Frogwoman Kara is filming from her perspective and takes you on a special inside view.

A mixture between a “Behind the Scenes” video and a “Scuba Combat Training” video… all that from a POV perspective.

Well, it’s a training scenario….

Background info:

At one time 2 videos were made simultaneously during the last video shot.

One camera was with Alice and Meg as they filmed video 38.

The other was mounted on Kara’s scuba mask at that time.

The initial plan was that they would film a scuba combat training video … just/only… from the POV perspective.

The footage that I found on the camera was too short, so I decided to leave nearly all of the raw footage in the video and it became this mixture of “Behind the Scenes” and

“Scuba Combat Training” POV video.

The focus is clearly on Frogwomen Scarlett as the camera is mounted on Kara’s scuba mask during this video.

You will also see some glimpses of Alice and Meg here and there.

You will see quite some footage that you normally wouldn’t see… and you will hear Kara’s breathing very well, as the camera is only around 15 centimeters away from her mouthpiece.

The future of Project F?

I will release two new videos from this video shoot in December.

And the second one will even come in 2 different versions (my favorite video from that video shoot)!

I have at least 9 videos in total that will be released from this video shoot, so the rest of the year is covered with new releases 🙂

In 2025, the next video shoot in that (deep) pool will be in early March, and then a lake video shoot in the summer (finally!!!).
