So, time for a short post on the latest “Project F” video shoot that happened on January 29.
This time we had 7 hours to shoot. 1 security diver and 4 frogwomen were involved.
Frgowoman Kara returned for her third video shoot, she has participated in all 3 so far.
Frogwomen Alice returned for a second video shoot after she was in the first one as well.
Two newcomers also participated.
Even with 7 hours (instead of the 5 hours from the second video shoot) it’s crazy how fast time flies by.
So much time is needed for setting up the equipment, gearing up, discussing scenes, and packing all the stuff…. that the actual underwater time is pretty short.
All in all, it looks like I will release 7 new videos from this shoot.
2 videos had a script, don’t know how long they will become exactly, as there are 6 video files for each of them.
Right now I would say that 5 or 6 of these videos will be released in the VIP club in the next 3 months (February, March, and April).
The remaining 1 or 2 will be over 4 minutes and therefore released individually.
Not everything worked out as planned and I made quite some notes on what I can do better the next time.
But… I am sure …most of you will like the results!
After all, the costs for renting that pool for 7 hours and paying the security diver and the 4 frogwomen were quite… huge.
So I hope a lot of folks will join the VIP club to secure future video shoots.
And now we are getting to the first part of THE main scuba scene of the movie!
The heroine of the movie, trapped in a plane without any air in her tank has to escape the deadly trap!

Well, the first scene with those two was already great, but this one is even better!
One of my favorite scuba fight scenes for sure 🙂
Our heroine certainly has a lot of lung capacity, which was mentioned earlier in the movie as she is an experienced freediver as well.
But it is still a little odd how calm she stays inside the plane, especially as she takes her time to escape the plane.
Lucky for her the other woman is still there (quite odd) so she can get her revenge.
Stealing her regulator by surprise is a great way to not only steal it from her but also use it for herself.
I think the time it takes for the evil diver to drown is hit quite well, maybe a little short, but it doesn’t take very long to drown, especially during such an attack.
And our heroine is just in a great position as she has her in a stranglehold like that. Very hard to escape from that.
I think she could have taken her knife to attack the heroine or could have tried to get her 2nd regulator.
But well, she was totally surprised by this attack and had only very little time to react.
It is also a little weird that she doesn’t take the scuba tank off her before placing the bomb on her.
After all, the evil diver would have needed time to escape the blast of the explosion. Weird that the bomb explodes that fast.
However, this way we get another short, but a nice perilous scene as suddenly a hand grabs onto her leg to stop her from ascending.
Turns out that the diver only wants to help her as she has no regulator and is still quite deep.
Hard to say if she would have made it to the surface without help.

I don’t know the background story behind this as I only watched the first episode of the first season 2 years ago.
If someone knows the background story… feel welcome to leave a comment!
Let’s start with the negative aspects… in my opinion.
There is some rather bad CGI involved. The whole scene with one of the frogwomen firing her two flare guns looks pretty cheap.
It looks weird and the sound of the guns is a little off. I so much prefer when they are shooting for “real” with blanks. Looks and sounds much better!
Quite a miracle that the 4 didn’t manage to score any hits on the two with these weapons.
*EDIT* Well, thanks to a video a nice user provided (check the comments) I now know that these bullets are actually already harmless after just a few feet of water.
Yeah, they can’t see them, but they see bubbles and they must have hit them with some luck with all these weapons.
On the good side…. I really like this scenario, very unusual stuff! The closeups with the frogwomen are good and it’s nice to have such an action scene, even if they are just fighting over distance.
A shame that the bad guys didn’t have some scuba gear to join the underwater action 😉
I edited these scenes and cut out all the stuff that happens on the boat. There is a pregnant friend of them there who is about to give birth….
The eye patch is a nice aspect as well, pretty unique. Interesting that she has a different one for scuba diving than she has on land.
They are running around in their wetsuits for a long time but I wanted to have a video under 3 minutes since videos from Netflix shows get quickly banned on Youtube… if they are too “long”.
But I included the end scene here to show them “unmasked” without hoods and masks, sort of a reveal at the end 😉

If you see all the scuba scenes in this movie and that latex catsuit the heroine is wearing…. well, I am sure the director of this movie Michael Gleissner has a fetish or two 😉
He also is one of the producers, the main writer of the movie and also is the villain in it! (the guy standing on the boat at the beginning of this video)
I mean why would the woman wear such a latex suit (which isn’t fitting very well) for a scuba dive? Well, either her character in the movie has a special taste or the director/producer 😉
My bet is on the director/producer!
Also, we get quite a lot of scuba peril scenes in this one…. so, I think that the director and myself have some things in common.
Clothing aside this first part of that scuba action scene is great! There are VERY few scenes where the air hose of a female scuba diver gets cut and even fewer scenes where a female scuba diver is the attacker! I love it 🙂
The sound and the visuals of her sliced hose spewing bubbles… is quite something!
The fact that she traps her in the plane is a bonus aspect as well.
Of course, the heroine won’t die like this in the middle of the movie (it’s not Psycho (the movie)) so, she can survive with that air pocket and her freediving skills.

Well, quite a unique scene!
Unfortunately, I don’t know the exact background story as I never watched this TV show, but perhaps someone can help with that!
However, I think it’s a nice and (too) short scene with quite a cool oxygen mask!
An interesting design that was most likely created for this show…#scifylook
The mask looks like they embedded a regulator in the lower part of the mask, but that is only my guess.
Damn, I wish she would have worn that mask for a longer period than in these short scenes.
Not sure what the aliens planned here but in my version they may have experimented with her oxygen supply to see how much oxygen a human needs 😉
The unmasking is a nice bonus since she doesn’t appear in that episode beforehand…. a nice reveal!
The suit she is wearing is also quite sexy! Hard to 100% say if that is some sort of modified wetsuit or a “catsuit” that just gets wet.

Deep Gold is one of my all-time favorite scuba movies and for that, I wanna present each interesting scuba scene with a blog post in the next weeks.
And then I will …finally ….also update the links in the Hall of Fame section to this movie.
That movie has a LOT to offer and I actually have the 3D Blu-ray in my collection.
The 3D isn’t really good here, but it looks (even) better than in 2D 😉
And right now, even the 2D Blu-ray isn’t available on US Amazon anymore.
Here in the blog post, 2D will have to suffice… and don’t worry, these scenes are very special.

…. and that was only a moderate entry as the first scuba scene. MUCH more to follow 😉
This first scene is a nice short scuba peril scene for starters. Not often do you see a female scuba diver sabotaging another boat/yacht.
And I kind of like that she gets entangled in her own net. Not a good place to be when the yacht is about to start moving 😉
In this scene she has a rather “normal” scuba outfit on… in comparison to later when the naughty producer (of this movie) puts her in a totally unusual, sexy/bizarre scuba outfit 😆
Also, a nice aspect here is that we have this couple who speak German and won’t get dubbed or subbed for some reason.
Maybe the German producer of this movie just wanted some lines of German in the movie? Hard to say….

What a naughty, weird villain 😉
She looks stunning in that gorgeous vintage beavertail wetsuit!
And his ideas to torture her are quite…. creative… (and insane).
She is really lucky that he showed up to save her from her… explosive… fate.
Also, in reality, her eardrums would burst as she can’t make the ear clearing with her hands tied up… unless she is one of those who can make it by just moving the jar around a little.
The submarine that he uses is really a cool vehicle, don’t remember seeing that one in any other movie.
In my version, she would have been in some nice scuba fights with the henchmen and henchwomen of the villain 😉
