Woman in makeshift hazmat/space suit is in danger of suffocating

So, no scuba scene for today… but here and there I wanna build in a scene with another sort of breathing device.

This scene is from a very new episode of a hit TV show, so chances are good that you don’t know it already… unless you are already watching this show/season.

In this scene, a woman in a makeshift hazmat/space suit wants to get into an underground facility.

And her air is running out completely….

Ok, I bet you have a ton of questions! 😉

Right now I may only answer some of them…

This episode aired about one week ago and there are still tons of questions that need to be answered…

Ok, outside that Silo the air is toxic, that is why she is wearing that makeshift suit.

A big issue on that makeshift suit is the tape that seals off the suit from outside air coming in at the ankles and wrists.

She realizes that one tap isn’t fully sealing one part, so she is losing air… even though there isn’t any sound effect that would indicate that.

But then it gets weird…. she gets some tools and runs down that staircase. Why?

Why doesn’t she fix her problems right away? I don’t know.

Then she is out of air and about to suffocate. #greatbreathingsounds

And then, instead of just removing the helmet… she smashes her visor, which is quite dangerous with that crowbar.

Are special tools needed to remove the helmet without destroying it? I don’t know.

Then she pours some brown liquid over her suit.. perhaps to wash off some toxins?

 And why is she then slicing her precious suit with a cutter? Which is also very dangerous. #dontcutyourself

She destroyed her suit pretty well, I guess she is 100% sure that she will never use it?

I hope this will all be somehow explained in the next episodes… and I will update this post… if that happens.

However, all these questions besides…. I think that is a great scene.

There are some more minutes with her in that suit where she falls on her back another time.

I was waiting for her vulnerable air hose to get damaged… but that didn’t happen.

The intensity of that suffocation scene is great, especially with those sound effects.

And wow, she plays it really well as she gives everything to stay alive.

It’s quite ironic how the suit that should keep her safe becomes a danger in itself in this scene.

I wanted to post about this one for quite some time now, even though the movie is rather new.

The movie itself is… bad, but it has a scuba scene in it!

Ok, the CGI effects are really bad! I guess there was only a 20$ budget for those…

I’m not a big fan of such lycra suits, and her gear combo is quite… odd.

Completely bare legs in combination with a hood?

That’s like wearing a coat and shorts 😆

But she looks good on the surface and underwater and the scuba scene is solid (if you ignore the CGI aspect… and the behavior of the “shark”).

Also, there must be a hell of a current as they are so far away from each other after he surfaced… but ok, not really important.

Don’t bother to watch the rest of the movie… it’s not worth it.

This is the best part of it 😉

Evil diver attacks a male and a female diver in a wreck [Hall of Fame]

I got a new… pretty great…. scene for you guys!

A scene that is even good enough to get placed into my Hall of Fame

Thanks to the great guy who recommended this new scuba scene to me! 🙂

We have a young woman and a guy who dive into a wreck to find something special.

I don’t know the background story, but perhaps someone here does so I might add that.

However, they find out that they are not alone down there….

Let’s start with the aspects I didn’t like:

Ok, I get that they try to be really sneaky and don’t want to attract any attention… but are we supposed to believe that they drive that boat and get ready

for a dive without any artificial lights? Just with the moonlight?

Well, it looks quite artificial and bad… as if the picture was heavily edited.

And I actually do wanna see what is going on 😉

Ok, let’s go to the underwater part. Some parts outside the wreck look really CGI-heavy… and not in a good way. #bad #nobudget

But once they are inside the wreck… the scene really lifts off 🙂

I think the guy looks really feminine with the hood and mask on, but it’s easy enough to tell them apart.

He is the one with a regulator that has the red colored parts on it. The one who then gets locked away.

It’s interesting that the bad guy attacks the woman first, but ok… perhaps he didn’t realize who is who before he attacked.

We get a LOT of great scuba scenes here 🙂

He steals her regulator, she puts it back in

He attacks her from behind, steals her regulator again(!), slices her air hose(!!!), AND even steals her whole tank! #overkill

I was nearly surprised that he didn’t also steal her mask, her hood, and her fins 😆

Ok, with her tank still on she could have used her second regulator… but only for a very short time as the hose to the main regulator was sliced.

The scene is done too fast for my taste, but ok… still …. quite an EPIC scene!

It’s also weird that they are so low on air as they just arrived in the wreck… but ok, doesn’t change anything about the scuba fight scene.

What is much more odd is that the good guy who had a spear gun used it to poke that bad guy with it instead of shooting at him. Why?

Maybe he thought he might have hit the woman? Or did he not know how to shoot?

But those are all small aspects… all in all it’s a great scene for my taste!

I love to find such scenes in new TV shows and movies as I know all the good scuba-fight scenes from the past by now… more or less.

AND…. I do have a nice BONUS for you folks!

I edited the scene down to a short video with ONLY the scenes in it where the bad guy attacks the woman!

A male and female diver get attacked by 2 evil scuba divers!

Sorry, I was too busy to make a post yesterday… but here is one today!

I could have sworn that this one was on the blog already… but it wasn’t. Maybe it got lost from the transfer from the old blog to this one… hard to say.

This one is a classic that was recommended to me over ten years ago as I was looking for new scuba scenes.

We have a man and a woman who are looking for treasure… but get attacked by some evil divers!

And yes… that is Christopher Lee! Maybe not in the best phase of his great career 😉

Well, sadly this is the best picture quality that is available for this movie.

It is a rather unknown TV movie from the early 1980s, and it was never published on anything other than a VHS.

The scuba fight is very short and her part is even shorter… just some frames.

Still, it is a very cool scene as such scuba fights with women are very rare.

The way the bad guy pins her against the wall and how she blocks the knife… really cool!

And the method by which the hero defeats the evil goons is quite … unique!

Even though I would prefer some sliced air hoses 😉

How to rob a train… underwater! [female scuba diver in vintage gear]

I have known about this one for a long time now and didn’t make a post.

Lately, someone recommended it to me again and I re-watched the scene and decided to make a blog post about it.

After all, it does have enough good aspects in it 😉

I tuned the video a little bit and made it a bit brighter.

Ok, these awful fake close-ups are really uncool and I am not even 100% sure if there was a female diver involved at all (female/male stunt double?).

I guess at least one of the two actors couldn’t do a close-up shot underwater… so they faked them like in “For Your Eyes Only”.

But the scene has some great vintage gear and a cool underwater vehicle as well.

Plus the overall criminal plot is pretty cool!

I mean they derailed a wagon with explosives, it fell off a bridge and they recovered it underwater.

A shame the police weren’t prepared better, as they were monitoring the train.

In my version, they would have sent some (female) police divers down there and the two had to fight them 😉

Also, the criminal mastermind Diabolik with all his masks and disguises would be female … so she would also fit perfectly for my other blog.

The female diver … and her sabotaged scuba gear

Thanks a lot to the guys who recommended this one, it was at least recommended to me twice… and now it’s finally time to make a post about it!

The scenario is very interesting! A female diver goes on a solo dive… and her scuba gear is sabotaged!

Let’s see if the video is as good as the idea for it….

Well…. WOW! How many errors of any kind and illogicalities can you build in? The script for these scenes is a total mess 😆

Yeah, it’s a telenovela, so the script is rubbish most of the time 😉

Ok, for some reason the evil guy wants to kill her off, most-likely she would discover something that she shouldn’t know about.

So, he damages the air hose of her regulator.

The air valve seems to be open the whole time (error) and she doesn’t realize above the water that her tank is losing air (error).

With the speed her air reserves are dwindling like on the gauge, the tank would have been long empty before she even hits the water (error).

Underwater she ALSO doesn’t realize that she is losing air she should HEAR(!) that (error)… or see it at one point.

She is diving alone… which is problematic (at least).

Then she realizes that she is out of air and fumbles around with her weight belt.

Why she isn’t surfacing immediately …. remains also a mystery as well (error).

Then she gets rescued and revived by the guy who acts epically bad… wow!

Despite all of that… the scene is interesting and thrilling for me.

There is a female diver with a damaged air hose who runs out of air and drowns. Quite a rare scenario!

So, all in all… a remarkable scene despite the many flaws.

A murderous diver wants to drown tourists!

Why this post on a Friday?

Well, as my usual upload-Sunday is the first of the month when I update the VIP club on both blogs… you get the weekly post two days early.

Thanks for the recommendation to the nice guy!

The story of this TV episode sounds quite …awesome! In a certain way….

A diver attacks swimmers at a big lake and tries to drown them.

Like a crazy serial scuba killer… and of course, the diver must be stopped, so the police are sending divers to catch him!

There is no female diver in this episode… a real bummer!

Would have been great if he had attacked a female diver.

Or even better… if the killer would have been a woman!

No luck!

But at least there are these two female swimmers in the episode who get attacked …and manage to escape him.

Especially the first scene is done pretty well with some nice close-ups.

Some spoilers for the rest of the episode:

His third attack (the only other which is shown in the episode) is more successful in a way.

He tries to drown a man, again… not successful, but the man gets a heart attack and dies because of that.

In the end, he gets chased down by 4 male divers… as he spots them he gives up and even tries to drown himself as he pulls out his own regulator!

In the end … he was quite unsuccessful as a crazy scuba killer 😆 … luckily for most of the victims he attacked.

So, as often… the storyline sounded better on paper, but I am happy to now know this episode.

The episode title “Der Schwarze Hai” (the black shark) is a nice reference to “Der weiße Hai” (the white shark) which is the German title of the blockbuster “Jaws”.

A female scuba diver gets attacked by a male scuba diver! Can she survive?

This one was recommended to me several times, but so far I didn’t want to make a post about it.

Ok…. I finally surrender!

After all, this scene has some strong aspects and I think many will love it…

So thanks to anyone who recommended this one to me!

A happy couple gets ready for a scuba dive, but someone has murderous plans for the female scuba diver!

I resisted the temptation of providing the major spoiler in the headline ….even more people would then click on it…

Ok, why didn’t I post about this one earlier?

Well, for me… her reaction to the attack ruins the scene… not completely, but to a certain degree.

She seems like a completely helpless puppet who does absolutely nothing to survive this hideous attack!

Her weird look as he is already chocking her…. let me summarize her thoughts as she plays it:

Oh well, what is happening…. zzzz…. you want to kill me? Well… zzzz…. that is rather inconvenient right now…. zzzzz

Would you please not do that now?

Yeah, this is a scene from a telenovela/soap opera. And you can see that perfectly with her reaction 😆

She doesn’t fight back at all, doesn’t attack him, doesn’t try to escape… doesn’t even move that much. Especially for that situation!

And her guy doesn’t realize that she gets attacked. At least not while it happens.

Ok, it was a rather quick attack, but he should be more aware of his dive buddy….

By the way: This video is from 2 episodes as they had a classic cliffhanger at the very end where she was about to drown.

But there are also some good aspects for me!

The way the bad guy follows them and then waits for his opportunity to strike is well-made.

Even his initial attack is kind of odd ….as grabbing her mask or regulator ….or closing her tank valve as the first move would have been more logical.

Some close-ups of her during and after the attack are really good. I can learn something from that for my Project F videos 😉

I don’t know the story behind the murder, so I could only guess why he killed her and why he killed her like that.

Sneaky frogwoman in rubber tries to beat Mike Nelson in an underwater race [Sea Hunt classics]

This episode of Sea Hunt is a great one where you have a hot vintage frogwoman in a rubber wetsuit for most of the episode!

She is a famous diver/swimmer and challenges Mike Nelson to an underwater race with scooters!

But things don’t go as planned….

I had to cut down the video quite a bit so it wouldn’t get too long, but I think that the best scenes of the episode are in it.

The premise is a little weird: She thinks she can outswim any man including Mike and then challenges him to an underwater scooter race?

Wouldn’t the one who weighs less have quite an advantage there? And why scooters when she thinks she can outswim him?

Well, anyhow… that much footage with her in a full rubber wetsuit is awesome! Even in black and white….

Hmm, so he wants to give the sexy rubber frogwomen “a good spanking” for her cheating at the race. Interesting 😉

Also, in the segment where she talks about “no one complained about the view” … quite a naughty line.

The peril segment with her turning and twisting around is nice, even if it is just acting and playing around.

In the end, she apologizes to Mike for cheating in the race and thanks him for saving her life by risking his.

So there is a redemption ending for the arrogant/cheating frogwoman.
