A stuntwoman, a scuba killer, and 2 female divers in bikinis

Time for another video from this cool vintage TV show 🙂

This time we have one stuntwoman in a bikini, a rubber frogman, and 2 women in vintage scuba gear and bikinis!

Thanks again to the nice guy for the episodes!

Watch the video before you continue!

The way they (poorly) try to hide the fact that they are filming the underwater scenes mostly in a pool is …inspiring.

Maybe I should try that too with the next Project F video shoot 😆

Some rocks, some seaweed, a murky picture, and no one will know the difference 😉

Good that I discovered the short flashback scene as I was checking the episode again… that was a vital addition.

I wish the struggle with the stuntwoman and the diver would have been presented better, but it’s certainly a nice idea!

A bikini girl, tied up, without any equipment… vs a guy in a rubber suit, with a knife, mask, and scuba tank.

Certainly an uneven match, but the flashback explains how he could lose that fight.

The 2 frogmen have the much more interesting gear here… for my taste.

But the one female diver has the classic scuba mask that Largo and his henchmen are using in Thunderball… always a big bonus 🙂

The 2 female divers are sadly too late for the action here.

All in all a good scene with interesting gear.

Seemingly, these scenes are from episode 185 of season 1 (the one and only).

  1. I feel the same.

Showing HOW the girl in bikini managed to (1) not drown for lack of air, (2) unlock herself WHILE fighting the scubaman and (3) escape without leaving anything would have been interesting.

And I too noticed that the underwater parts are in a pool XD.

PS: do you remember my request about the “wrong” tags?

  2. Bikini clad beauties underwater – whats not to like ?

Not sure if that stuntwoman would have survived that fall or been able to hold her breath for so long. !

    • Yeah, that was quite a … stunt 😉
The fall seemed quite long, hard to say what the distance was supposed to be.
The breath holding isn’t a big issue for me… if she is well trained in breath holding and freeing herself… that shouldn’t be the issue.
And perhaps that cuffs aren’t really a challenge… the audience most-likely won’t see what is happening underwater.
Hmh, ok… she could even use a scuba tank in that case… hmh…
I guess the audience need to see what happens underwater for that stunt to be impressive

  3. It’s a bit of a shame. Those old films had so much potential but didn’t really make the most of it.
If you’re going to have a story that includes underwater scenes, you should execute them properly rather than just hinting at them.
Your *Project F* shows that it’s possible to create realistic underwater combat without a huge budget or special effects.

    • Thanks! Well, if you don’t have someone with a fetish for such things (producer/screen writer/director)… I think it needs a bit of luck that they produce scenes in a way we like 😉
And often they could use some more knowledge from underwater experts when you see how weird/unrealistic certain scenes become.
Also the budget contraints are a big issue for many productions if they have a lot of crew (as normal in TV or movie productions).
I do have costs for my shots, but I do “only” have to pay a handful of people.
