It sounds so awesome on paper. A female diver ties up a guy, slices his air hose… leaving him to drown!

Sadly, here, the scene is done pretty badly. He is a helpless puppet who can’t fight back at all.
You could think he wants to be drowned… hmh….
Also, the drowning itself… or the end result… isn’t shown at all.
But I guess 90% of the budget of the episode was already spent on that 1-minute underwater scene 😉
After all, this is a really cheap TV show with very short episodes (around 20 minutes).
It’s great to have such an air hose slice in it; that’s quite rare stuff, especially when it’s done by a woman.
After that scene, the question for me was…. how they would get the female scuba killer!
And the explanation they come up is… totally…. INSANE!
They find a small gemstone in his stomach that is missing from her ring!
Ok… what does that prove?
According to them, it’s bulletproof proof that she was the killer!
Aha, interesting! And how did that stone end up in his stomach?????
I guess he took out his regulator and was sucking on her ring while being drowned by her?
Or did he take out this regulator and she was then beating him up while the stone got loose and somehow got into his mouth? And he then swallowed it?
It’s one thing to come up with this TOTALLY INSANE explanation… but somehow someone must have then greenlit the whole thing.

Oh man! Colombo would commit suicide over such an explanation…
However… crazy that is… a peril scenario like that is very rare!
A shame they didn’t make it better…
By the way: Quite a cool deep pool they have in that dive school with so much decoration!

The description says: Season 6, episode 26… but that doesn’t match with IMDB… but that’s not so unusual
By the way: A 2.2 on IMDB for this show … that is impressive! 😆
