So, that title got long enough… just a quick post for this week:
1) Project F video shoots
As you may have already read in yesterday’s update in the post from August 1… I canceled the video shoot in the lake that was planned for today.
It is rather cold for early August… and more importantly… there are tons of clouds. Not the conditions where I wanna spend several hundred Euros to make a video shoot.
I need some solid sunlight for the lighting.
That means the next video shoot will be the long-planned 9-hour video shoot in the pool in 2 weeks (August 18).
I think I will make a new attempt at a video shoot in the lake in 4 weeks (September 1).
If I can get enough participants on that date, the weather is at least average and the lake is still warm enough.

2) New gear for the next video shoot on August 18
I’m still on the lookout for new scuba gear. Do you have any ideas …wishes?
I am thinking about getting a spear gun… even if it wouldn’t be fired, basically just for “show”.
Always on the lookout for sexy new wetsuits… especially with smooth skin, that makes it look like rubber.
But right now I find it hard to find a suit that brings really something new to the collection… a suit that isn’t too similar to the ones I have already and that looks great.
Perhaps a (darker) blue smooth-skin wetsuit would be a great addition.
But it’s hard to find one that looks good, isn’t too expensive (up to around 200 Euro), and is available in the EU if possible. (no custom fees and faster transport)
As an example I often buy new gear …here… (and on Ebay).

Time for an update on the next Project F video shootings!
A first lake video shoot was scheduled for last week, but I called it off due to the weather report. It was very hot with lots of clouds and heavy rain was scheduled for later in the day.
It would have been possible to shoot… but I wanna have better conditions.
There will be a next try next Sunday… if the weather is ok and I get enough folks for it incl. a safety diver and someone who watches over the scuba gear while the others are on a dive. #publicplace
Hopefully, it will work out this time!
A big 9-hour video shoot in the pool is still scheduled for August 18.
So, the chances are good that there are 2 video shootings only 2 weeks apart.

Right now I am waiting for a good weather period to show up here.
Nearly every wetsuit I have for women …is either 1.5 or 3 mm, which is very thin.
Warm enough for a pool, but mostly too thin for a lake. And ….as you know … (many) women freeze easily 😉
I don’t wanna buy several more wetsuits just for that lake video shoot, especially as these thicker ones are just regular neoprene suits without smooth skin.
Regular wetsuits here in Germany have 5 or 7 mm for diving in local waters… or you even need a drysuit when it’s cold(er).
In the last weeks, the temperature in the air only rarely succeeded 20 degrees Celsius and the lake temperature on the surface seems to be around 20 degrees as well when I checked.
And it quickly gets colder the deeper you go…
With the weather report, it seems highly unlikely now that this video will happen this month.
The next video shoot in the deep pool is in mid-August.
So, I now wanna squeeze in the lake video shoot in July, so there is enough time afterward to prepare for the pool video shoot.
So, some sunshine (for lighting) and 20 to 25 degrees would be cool with the lake just a little warmer than now.
Also, I now have to get some additional gear for the video shoot in the lake, especially some gear that wasn’t needed in the pool.
You can watch and download these videos in the VIP club, but only for personal use!
Don’t share them with anyone…. anywhere!
It’s pretty simple, I had to spend a lot of money:
All that scuba gear, location rent, and the money for the frogwomen and the safety diver.
If I don’t make enough money with these videos….. I won’t be able to make new videos at some point.
I hope you appreciate these videos and want to see more in the future!
After all, you get all those Project F videos each month + additional content for just 12 euros (or even less per month if you get into the VIP club for more than one month).
I would say that is quite a bargain!
Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?
Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.
Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.
Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…
I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.
I will check out other sites like Vimeo though, if that would be an option or not.

In the summer I wanna finally have my first video shoot in a lake (June?)
And there will be another video shoot this year in this cool deep pool …in August.
So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!
