Today I wanna do something that I do very rarely here… make a post about a future movie!
I guess 80-90% of you folks know this scene from my Hall of Fame:

It’s one of my all-time favorites when it comes to “frogwoman in a gorgeous wetsuit” scenes!
Also, I think many of you are familiar with the movie in which that scene is placed!
It’s “Amsterdamned”, the classic Euro thriller from 1988.
In that one, a crazy (male) scuba diver goes on a killing spree in the canals of Amsterdam.

Yeah, I know… there isn’t a female scuba diver to see in the teaser or the poster… at least from what we know.
But, I think the chances aren’t too bad that there will be a female scuba diver in it…. one way or another.
I mean there are MANY possibilities for how that movie might be featured big time on this channel:
Maybe a female scuba diver gets attacked by the killer?
Maybe a woman gets pulled into the canals and drowned by the killer? etc. (like the one on the boat in the teaser)
Maybe the leading actress Tara Lee, goes scuba diving to hunt the killer down… and maybe even fights with him/her?
Maybe the crazy scuba killer is even a woman? For example a daughter of the original killer…. who seeks (late) revenge.
Ok, maybe that is just my fantasy… and there will be nothing like it in the movie….but I really look forward to this one!
I mean, the scenario is just great! A crazy male/female scuba diver who gets on a killing spree? That is great (in fiction)!
It’s cool that Huub Stabel gets back for a second part, a whopping 37 years after the first one.
It’s also interesting that there is a teaser trailer, a whole year ahead of the movie… I hope that is a good sign as crap B or C-movies mostly don’t get announced so far ahead with a teaser.
Hopefully, this won’t be some bad movie that just wants to make some money from the big name of the original one.
I think it’s very hard to see the killer on the poster. I am not even sure if he/she faces forward or backward:lol:

Background info (*edited December 28*):
There are TWO versions (Codename: “Raspberry” and “Strawberry”) of the events that happened in the pool.
You can then decide which you like better 😉
Plus you ALSO get a video with alternative takes… that didn’t make it into the final videos.
This video was very demanding of Alice who was the freediver in this one. We did some extra takes and she needed to hold her breath for them as well.
As Alice has extensive freediving training… she was the logical choice for that role and she performed great!
Project F veteran Kara and Project F newbie Scarlett also did a good job here.
This was the last video we shot that day and we filmed on this one until we ran out of time.
I am happy with the video, even though there is room for improvement … of course.
Maybe I will use the “freediver VS scuba diver(s)” scenario again in the future… with more time at hand. It is certainly a very interesting scenario!

Why are my videos not on sites like Clip4sale?
Well, Clip4sale are a bunch of cutthroats that want 40%(!) of each video that you sell.
Yes, they offer those videos to a wide audience, but I don’t wanna give someone 40% for “just” providing the platform to sell the videos.
Also, that would mean that YOU would have to pay a lot more to get the videos…
I guess I could have made more money if my videos were on Clip4sale… but well, I won’t do it.
I will check out other sites like Vimeo though, if that would be an option or not.

In 2025, the next video shoot in that (deep) pool will be in early March, and then a lake video shoot in the summer (finally!!!).
So, there will be many more new videos for the VIP club for sure!

Yeah, there are quite some aspects that I don’t like about this.
First of all… I don’t like that they don’t use scuba tanks but these long hoses.
And there is a LOT of CGI involved here. Just look at these crazy bubbles 😆 …for example.
Her wetsuit is nice, even the guys have much cooler/sexier ones.
By the way: Damn, she is only wearing a shorty wetsuit but has that amount of lead on her? Plus these weighted shoes on top.
Wouldn’t it be extremely hard to ascend like that? But ok, details….
The peril scene with the CGI eels is nice, better than nothing for sure.
She is forced into a crazy ascend, that would be insanely dangerous… and probably lethal depending on the actual depth.
All in all a nice scene in my opinion.

Background info:
In this one, Frogwoman Kara took the 2nd camera that was mounted on a selfie stick… and swam some quick rounds in the pool (with quite some speed).
While that happened I filmed Video 42 (Learning Scuba 3).
Here and there you can find some frogwomen and me in the background (Alice as safety diver, Meg teaching Scarlett scuba basics, and me who was filming).
Kara was wearing the Camaro Speedskin which looks great on her, even if it’s not a perfect fit (on the arms).
I gave only very few instructions to Kara and she made this video basically on her own and 99,9% of the complete footage is actually in the video.
Kara was diving around really fast and made some loopings in this one, cruising and floating through the water.
This results in some great footage… I would say 🙂

So, no scuba scene for today… but here and there I wanna build in a scene with another sort of breathing device.
This scene is from a very new episode of a hit TV show, so chances are good that you don’t know it already… unless you are already watching this show/season.
In this scene, a woman in a makeshift hazmat/space suit wants to get into an underground facility.
And her air is running out completely….

Ok, I bet you have a ton of questions! 😉
Right now I may only answer some of them…
This episode aired about one week ago and there are still tons of questions that need to be answered…
Ok, outside that Silo the air is toxic, that is why she is wearing that makeshift suit.
A big issue on that makeshift suit is the tape that seals off the suit from outside air coming in at the ankles and wrists.
She realizes that one tap isn’t fully sealing one part, so she is losing air… even though there isn’t any sound effect that would indicate that.
But then it gets weird…. she gets some tools and runs down that staircase. Why?
Why doesn’t she fix her problems right away? I don’t know.
Then she is out of air and about to suffocate. #greatbreathingsounds
And then, instead of just removing the helmet… she smashes her visor, which is quite dangerous with that crowbar.
Are special tools needed to remove the helmet without destroying it? I don’t know.
Then she pours some brown liquid over her suit.. perhaps to wash off some toxins?
And why is she then slicing her precious suit with a cutter? Which is also very dangerous. #dontcutyourself
She destroyed her suit pretty well, I guess she is 100% sure that she will never use it?
I hope this will all be somehow explained in the next episodes… and I will update this post… if that happens.
However, all these questions besides…. I think that is a great scene.
There are some more minutes with her in that suit where she falls on her back another time.
I was waiting for her vulnerable air hose to get damaged… but that didn’t happen.
The intensity of that suffocation scene is great, especially with those sound effects.
And wow, she plays it really well as she gives everything to stay alive.
It’s quite ironic how the suit that should keep her safe becomes a danger in itself in this scene.

Background info:
At one time 2 videos were made simultaneously during the last video shot.
One camera was with Alice and Meg as they filmed video 38.
The other was mounted on Kara’s scuba mask at that time.
The initial plan was that they would film a scuba combat training video … just/only… from the POV perspective.
The footage that I found on the camera was too short, so I decided to leave nearly all of the raw footage in the video and it became this mixture of “Behind the Scenes” and
“Scuba Combat Training” POV video.
The focus is clearly on Frogwomen Scarlett as the camera is mounted on Kara’s scuba mask during this video.
You will also see some glimpses of Alice and Meg here and there.
You will see quite some footage that you normally wouldn’t see… and you will hear Kara’s breathing very well, as the camera is only around 15 centimeters away from her mouthpiece.

Hey folks!
I do realize how often the Project F trailers on YouTube are watched and how many new VIP subscriptions and Video package deals there are each month.
But most of the time I can only guess who you like a Project F video.
I am not sooo happy about the numbers in the last two months (VIP subscriptions + Video package deals), even though the monthly numbers don’t include active long-term memberships from previous months.
Today I wanna encourage you to send me feedback!
Just reply to a VIP club or Video package deal email that I sent you.
– Feedback about the Project F videos you watched (What did you like, what didn’t you like)
– What would you like to see in the future? (gear, story, etc.)
The next video shoot is in early March and I am already collecting ideas for it.
I have written down some notes about aspects that need to be improved in the future.
I do have some hunches about what you folks would like to see more (more deadly endings? more close-ups? grunts?).
I also think that I … maybe… should focus on making fewer videos in the time I have on such a video shot, but then make longer ones with more takes and more script.
Perhaps I will then only release one new video per month instead of two.
