And as this is a rather small TV movie from 2000 with only 73 ratings on IMDB, I doubt that there will be ever a HD release, so this might be the best quality for this one…ever.
A young woman is on vacation with her parents. She falls in love with a handsome guy who happens to run a scuba school at the beach nearby.
She is curious and wants to dive with him. After a training session in the pool he convinces her to make a nightly dive to a wreck.
He has special plans for her…..murderous…. plans! He has a job to fulfill!

And here is the video:
I envy those of you who just saw this scene for the first time!
There are some aspects, that could have been done better for sure…..but damn, when it comes to scuba peril scenes….this one is hard to top.
[watch the video first!!!]
First the sneaky bastard lures her into a wreck, perfect for his evil plans.
He is the experienced diver and she has nearly no practice at all.
But seemingly he is too sure of himself! Early on he makes a first mistake.
Instead of a suprising, simultaneous attack on mask AND regulator, he “just” uses one hand to attack her as he rips out the regulator. And he could easily grabbed her mask afterwards as she is completely surprised by his attack and needs some seconds to realise that he wants to drown her.
I love the shocked look on her face as she realises what her beloved instrtuctor is actually up to!
But instead he grabs her arms. Ok, if he would have be able to control her arms…that wouldn’t be a problem. Without her regulator she would drown quickly. But she manages to escape his grip!
And again, he makes a mistake….as she is reaching for the shaft of that champagne glass he could have easily ripped her scuba mask off which would have made her pretty helpless immediately.
But he somehow just pointlessly yanks at her….what is he doing???
However as she slams that glass shaft into his leg…. he starts to gain control over the situation again.
The way she manages to retrieve her regulator, greedily sucks for air and is so close to escape the wreck….is greatly done! Now he is in full control as he pulls her back in and starts yanking with force on one of her air hoses (I don’t think that it is actually her (main) regulator as she is breathing from it for some seconds afterwards. And she could have used her second regulator otherwise, pretty sure she had one. Of course only as long as there is still air remaining in her tank.
I don’t know if you actually could rip of such a hose like that…but sure as hell it’s a great view as her air starts gushing out with force! Especially as she reaches behind her to see if she can do anything about it.
As the evil instructor leaves her trapped in the wreck, she manages to stay somewhat calm and manages to focus on how to escape.
She realises that her quickly emptying tank builds an air pocket and gets the oxygen she desperately needs.
Also she finds a method to break through that window and thereby escapes the wreck.
Ok, that fact that she manages to swim up the whole way, even stopping so that he would drive away….might not be SOOOO realistic. And also if she would make to the surface, she might get the bends as the wreck was seemingly in some depth.
But of course, for the movie to go on, the lead actress had to survive this trap…
This scene has so much to offer….
A surprise attack where he rips out her regulator! A struggle! A counterattack from her!
He pulls her back in and ripps off an air hose! A tank spewing bubbles! Her desperate breathing in the air pocket!
Her struggle to break through the glass! Her desperate ascend and panic attack as she reaches the surface!
Well, I have to say I wasn’t that excited about a new movie with scuba scenes since I saw the trailer for “Sanctum” several years back!
This one seems all about two frogwomen (sisters actually) and their diving trip that really takes a bad turn. I don’t understand the swedish dialoges in the trailer, but it is rather easy to understand the basic story:
As one of them is trapped underwater the older sitster needs to supply her trapped, younger sister with full air tanks to stay alive and find a way to free her before all air supplies are gone.
And the trailer alone shows already quite a lot of scuba peril scenes and hints how much there might be in the full movie. I’m not the biggest fan of drysuits, but that is only a minor issue. They have modern full face scuba masks, actually quite a rare sight in movies. And the last FFM’s I saw in movies were masks that were designed just for the movies, and they weren’t very attractive.
As you can see in the last moments of the trailer the movie will premiere in sweden on February 14th. It doesn’t have any premiere dates for other countries now and somehow I don’t think that will change that close to the premiere. I do hope that the movie will surface along with subtitles in the near future as I really MUST see this one!
An interesting detail: 1:21 into the trailer there is a diver with a different scuba mask. Is that another diver? If yes, who is he/she and what does this diver intend to do?
Or is the diver her older sister? But why would she now use a different scuba mask? Is her old one broke by then? Many interesting questions 😉
A few days after Christmas, Swedish/Norwegian half-sisters, Ida and Tuva, set out on a winter dive in a remote part of the Norwegian coastline. Towards the end of the dive, a rockslide traps Tuva under water. As Ida surfaces to call for help, she discovers that the rockslide has struck above water as well, burying their equipment, phones and car keys… they are completely cut off from any chance of outside rescue. As the frantic race for survival unfolds, Ida is put to the ultimate test of character and forcefulness. During Ida’s fight to save Tuva, a fractured sisterhood is exposed, and when all seems lost, the stakes rise beyond simple survival.
Here are some promo posters I discovered the last days:
*UPDATE* My 2 ordered books have arrived, I took some pictures. Who wants a freshly printed, Thunderball photobook?
As you may know by now I am a HUGE Thunderball (the Bond movie) fan.
For that reason I created a fetish-focused Thunderball photobook (mostly sexy women + scuba fights and peril + wetsuits)
As I was ordering it today, I thought I shall order a second one in case anyone would be interested. 😉
This photobook contains 240 screenshots that I took from a high quality HD file.
The photobook has DINA4 size so it measures 210 x 297mm (or 8.3 x 11.7 inches). Each of the screenshot pages has 3 pictures. Book has 96 pages with quality photo paper.
These screenshots are from the sexiest scenes:
Fiona Volpe + Derval, The Vulcan bomber scene (gassing + drowning)(over 70 pictures), Fiona Volpe in Leather, Bond and Domino (underwater, on boats, on the beach), Bond VS Spectre frogman (under Disco Volante), Bond and Domino (diving + beach), Bond finds Vulcan bomber, Bond joins Spectre + Bond fights in underwater cave, Domino gets tortured by Largo, the final UW battle (over 70 pictures), Bond VS Largo on Disco Volante
*EDIT* Pictures of the book (examples), ….sorry for the bad lightning in some of them:
In addition to that I included 20 more pictures: posters, set-pictures, promo pictures and so on.
*UPDATE* So, who would like to have such a Thunderball photobook?
I would sell one, still wrapped up copy for 39 Euro 35 Euro 29 Euro (won’t go any lower…) (incl. worldwide postage). Payment with Paypal.
In addition you will get one free month for the VIP club.
And another female scuba scene from Baywatch in HD! And it is the last one until seasons 10 and 11 are finally available in HD.
I made two video with nearly 5 minutes each, it is a pretty loooooong scene and it offers quite a good peril situation 😉

Ok, let’s start with the bad aspects of these scenes, typical Baytwach stuff:
She hits the wall of the cave with her tank and suddenly a lot of loose rocks are coming down everywhere?
A boat equipped for diving AND a Baywatch rescue boat combined ….don’t have a single full scuba tank? Good planing… 😆
And of course, AS USUAL, everytime someone gets trapped underwater he/she has only a few minutes of air left. 😉
As she pulls her regulator out, it still provides a LOT of bubbles…doesn’t seem completely empty. And why didn’t the diver offered her rescuer the regulator? She is down there without a tank!
(*Edit*: Ok, the last sentence was my mistake as it would be fatal for a freediver…more info in the comments)
OK, but let’s focus on the good parts:
She looks great in that diveskin suit! A hot woman in a wet, skin-tight suit…. the lucky guy who can dive with her!
I love the silver metallic regulator of her, looks great in her mouth, especially as she is trapped and grunting and cursing into it. 🙂
I would have added a little more drama to the scene. Half a minute before the rescuer arrives she runs out of air, desperately sucking on the regulator with wide open eyes. It doesn’t give her anymore air so she yanks it out and starts to panic. Right then the other woman arrives, realises that the diver is out of her and provides her with air with a long mouth to mouth. Then they escpape the cave and get air from the -pretty useless in this scene- dudes. 🙂
Here is the episode in which you can find these scenes:
In my two stories that I wrote about it, I had one woman in each of those versions. One time the pilot was a woman (that gets attacked), in the other version, the scuba diver was a woman (Fiona Volpe).
Now I wonder, which “gender setting” would you prefer?
