I know this scene for a long time and never really thought of making a post about it.
Last year a nice guy recommended me this one again and mentioned that there was a longer cut of this movie that contained much more scuba scenes than the standard cut.
I checked it and still wasn’t sure if I would make a post about it. I mean the overall tone is just very goofy.
The downside is that the extended cut isn’t available in really good quality, at least to my knowledge. But better to have more scuba scenes here π
The scuba scenes here are very long and mostly focused on the male main character.
So, I decided to make a video with all her scenes, a frogwoman cut of the scenes π

Watch the video before you continue!
I included some scenes with her out of her anti-shark suit as you can see.
All in all some nice scenes, especially like the scene where the evil diver yanks off her mask to steal the little tank from her (that contains something everyone is after).
A shame that this whole tone is so goofy and that there is never any real danger (for the good guys) as this here is basically more a comedy than everything else at this point.
The scene where Jackie Chan uses her (and her suit) as a shield against the bad guy with the huge knife is quite nice as well. Certainly a unique scene.
Pretty hilarious that he kicks her then and she “flies” some meters through the water π
*EDIT* Thanks to a nice user and his comment I wanna post the picture right here in the post:

Yeah, she looks quite stunning in her wetsuit and bikini….
The new(er) Flipper TV show offers a lot of scenes with female scuba divers as you may already know.
I already posted some of them and today I wanna present another one!

A fine peril scene, even it has some obvious flaws π
Ok, don’t know if any dolphin could distract/fend off a great white shark…but that’s one of the less problematic points. Still, the shark is so much faster than she is, he could easily catch up with her again, even there is Flipper around.
I don’t remember the full episode but she obviously has some trauma with sharks. Which is quite a problem if you work half the time underwater as she does in her job….
But overall the scene has its plus points as well. I always enjoy seeing women in full-face masks in action. Quite rare stuff, even today.
If I would ever make a shark movie, I guess these sharks would be trained to have a taste for air hoses instead of human meat π
With all the crazy shark movies out there, I wonder why no one did that so far. π
There is another scene with her in scuba gear as she tags a shark from a really thin shark cage. But that’s very short and without action.
Ok folks, time to make a BIG, juicy post about a new movie that deserves it! I am sure this will be one of the longest posts I made on this blog.
You all should know Deep Blue Sea (1999), certainly one of the best shark movies with a big budget (60 million $….and that was 20 years ago).
Then in 2018, there was a successor with a tiny budget, practically the same plot…..but it wasn’t good. In fact, it was quite horrible. It had a short and uninteresting scuba scene.
This June I posted about the trailer for Deep Blue Sea 3. It was promising as it had quite a lot of scuba content and the female lead had some scuba scenes as well.
This week the movie was actually released and I watched it in the hope of being entertained and, of course, to find some good scuba scenes.
Deep Blue Sea 3 has an estimated budget of 5 million $. Certainly not an A-list movie.
I don’t know if they planned (before Covid) to release it on cinema screens, but I guess not, especially after the 2nd one was a disappointment.
Even after watching the trailer….I certainly didn’t expect to get HYPED like this π

The setting is already nice with a tiny island that slowly gets swallowed by the ocean due to climate change. Even some parts are made by CGI, a pretty impressive setting for that limited budget.
Tania Raymonde, the lead actress, looked already familiar to me in the trailer, but I didn’t know for sure. After a check on IMDB, I knew for certain: Actually, I know her since the start of her acting career as she had a small role in “Malcolm in the middle” in the early 2000s. She was also in “Lost” and “Goliath”.
After 90 seconds she appears in the movie in a black, smoothskin shorty…. and ….my eyebrows…. moved up already. π
Preview – scenes from before AND after her first dive in the movie:
After her first dive of the movie…
…. Tania is still…

And here is the video – scenes from before AND after her first dive in the movie:
If I would post all the scenes of her scuba diving …and/or …wearing sexy wetsuits/bikinis throughout the movie it would practically be half the movie π
Here is a selection of her outfits that she wears both underwater and above the surface :

The ultimate HIGHLIGHT of the movie is around minute 70.
[small SPOILERS ahead!]
The bad guys have placed an underwater mine that would not only kill the sharks but also sink the (artificial) island.
So, Tania gets into scuba gear once again and wants to defuse the mine. But the villain has sent a diver after her to stop her!
And what followed…let my lower jar drop… (+other things happened as well).
(*EDIT January 2022*: Now on Google Drive since it is suddenly not welcome anymore on YouTube)

Over the years I have seen quite a lot of scuba fights. Some were good, others were bad.
But DAMN! THIS is how you make a scuba fight!!!!!
Ok, there are things you can improve here….but SO many things are done realllllly good:
– It’s a little weird that he doesn’t use the speargun that he still had as the villain sends him after her. He also doesn’t have a knife, or he doesn’t wanna use it. And he also fails to use the element of surprise. She was fully focused on the mine, so he could have sneaked up from behind her and ripped her mask off, stabbed her, cut her air hose etc.. Maybe he was too incompetent, he underestimated her… or he just wanted to have a real challenge instead of a “dishonorable” kill.
– The whole time you hear her breathing sounds from that FFM. It’s thrilling to hear both of them grunting and moaning as the fight goes on. You can really HEAR the struggle! A pretty rare thing when it comes to underwater fights.
– Tania really fights back! She is not the easy victim he may suspect. I love how she tries EVERYTHING: She attacks him with her knife, reaches for his mouthpiece, beats against his mask, claws into his hand, uses her elbow to hit him as he is behind her. Pretty sure I have never seen so many different moves from a frogwoman in a scuba fight! Love the fight choreography here! Often the bad guys (try to) yank out the mouthpiece of a frogwoman to drown her and that’s it. Tania has an FFM, so he can’t do that. She struggles frantically to keep the mask on as he is trying to yank it away from her forcibly.
– The whole struggle as he yanks on her mask…..is really awesome! A verrrry intense scene! A close-up of his hand yanking on her mask would have been great, but that’s only a minor issue. My slightly bigger issue is that the white shark rescues her a little too early π
Would have loved to see her struggling for some time without the mask, while her mask would be spitting her precious air. However, it’s great that he did manage to rip that mask off after all the struggle. The evil frogman had no luck after he finally managed to overpower her, he had a BIG advantage…..he got eaten… π
This scuba fight is one of the very best in my opinion. Certainly in my TOP 5 of all time!
It’s great that we still get fights like this one! I guess I know at least 95% of the good ones….so I am VERY happy about the new material! π
Fun fact with some spoilers about the ending of the movie, don’t read it if you haven’t seen the whole movie!
Spoiler title
Actually, all the women survive…and all the men get eaten/killed during the movie
I guess some trolls and other sorts of morons think that this movie is a feministic movie against men …and thereby part of a feministic worldwide conspiracy π

>>>>> In this VIP section of August you will get one additional scuba scene from this movie ….. and 3 more different cuts of this EPIC scuba fight! <<<<<
I will upload and link these scenes today….so head over there if you are a member.
And if you are not a member….this is your chance to join and get a LOT of content for the usual price.
Looks like a good amount of scuba scenes! π
And besides the CGI….the trailer looks pretty good in my opinion!
It won’t be as good as Deep blue sea was…but hopefully it’s better than the second.
As long we get a lot of frogwomen scenes I’m happy. Especially when they get into some serious action.
These scenes are from a very new movie, I tried to upload the short clips (under 4 minutes) on Youtube, but they were blocked right away (like in the past with the prequel to this movie).
So, these videos will only be on this Blog, but not on my Youtube channel.
In this movie, we got 4 very young women that wanna explore an ancient underwater cave system.
And SURPRISE….that wasn’t a really good idea π
They have to fight monstrous “ghost” sharks and their dwindling air reserves!

Well, you didn’t expect that ending! π
For that reason, I avoided any hints of drowning in the text and pictures above.
This one is a pretty great one for the drowning-peril fans out there.
I wanted to watch this movie for a while and I was spoilered that she would drown in that scene….unfortunately.
Never expected to see a shark “drown” a female diver. Yes, of course, that wasn’t his intention, but by biting into her scuba gear, he forced her to give it up.
And without it -deep down in that cave system- she hadn’t had a chance without any help in range.
She drowns pretty quick, but in her state of panic, with the shark on her tail….no surprise.
The movie offers a lot of underwater scenes as they are underwater for at least 75% of the movie!
I generally like full-face scuba masks, but these aren’t my taste. They show “everything” (what the producers clearly wanted) and look very “unstylish”.
The scuba gear is incomplete with these “shorty” wetsuits and the missing fins. For me, more would be …..more here π
The “we run out of oxygen soon” is a topic for parts of the movie, but unlike in the first movie, it wasn’t handled very well in this one in my opinion.
However, I strongly recommend that you watch the whole movie if you like to see these 4 frogwomen in underwater peril for a looooong time!
This video will be posted “just” here on my blog, not exactly material for YouTube π
I know this movie for a long time and some folks have recommended me in the last years as well. Today this famous scene is finally on this blog as well.
What do we have here?
A nice boat with some folks who are looking for a small island. A small island with a rather mad scientist.
One of the women wants to go on a dive to take some pictures.
But soon, a (very pregnant) tiger shark is attracted by the pretty nude scuba lady.
